Examples of cost drivers include machine hours, direct material hours, direct labor hours and so forth. The process of selecting the system most suitable for a business depends on having a clear comprehension of the benefits and limitations of the two primary costing systems.
Also known as the conventional method, the traditional costing framework assigns manufacturing overhead costs to the manufactured products. This method assigns a factory’s indirect costs to the manufactured items on the basis of the volume of units produced, the direct labor hours, or the production machine hours. Therefore, with a traditional costing system the implication is that factory overhead costs are dependent on a given cost driver. The application of this assumption was applicable in the past decades because the listed cost drivers were the biggest contributors to manufacturing costs of products. However, in modern times manufacturing overheads have been driven by numerous factors hence the traditional costing system may be misleading in making effective management decisions (Cokins, 1998).
Traditional costing systems apply indirect costs to the products by considering a predetermined overhead rate. The process of traditional costing begins with the identification and selection of the indirect costs and estimation of the expenses for the suitable period. The expense period can be monthly, quarterly, or yearly. The cost drivers that relate to the selected costs are then chosen. Similar to the expenses, the amount of the cost driver is evaluated for the suitable period. The estimated cost drivers and estimated expenses are then used to calculate an overhead rate that is then applied to the products using the figured rate.

...commit mistakes usually focus on behavioral research when they should rather delve more into cognitive development of hominins vis-a-vis the stone tools they used, and the technological and evolutionary aspects of these tools. The article, which is probably intended for current researchers and students in archeology, is organized by the author through the use of both satire and actual results of previous research investigations in order to prove his point that theories on human origins can only be formulated through cognitive and not behavioral studies using Paleolithic stone tools. First, Shea presents a rather long and sarcastic narrative directly lifted from one of C. S. Lewis’ satirical novellas in order to expose...

... with it. Furthermore, discoveries in Australia and the Americas are not consistent with research elsewhere. Only Africa provides consistency with research in terms of the timeline. These and other arguments by the author are placed rather reasonably and are justified just the same. His arguments are both sound and coherent and there is little reason to differ with them. As in other scientific investigation, these mysteries are often solved as more data becomes available through the expansion of research.... The describes how stone tool analysis and research on human origins is manipulated by archaeological professionals to suit their own needs. He relates various avenues where archaeological evidence is construed based on personal whims...

...beautiful girls. Studying for us was just a matter of showing respect and obedience towards our parents who always wanted the best for us. On March 6, 2005, my sister was involved in a car accident which caused her early and unexpected death. Shock struck us that time because we never thought she would leave us in such a manner, having seen her in the morning that day so vibrant and excited to go to school. I tried to deny her death even after seeing her body in the morgue. I thought they might have mistakenly identified her to be my sister; that the dead lady just looks like her. However, I came to the realization that I had to face the facts of life; that we do not always get what we want and things do not always end the way we want...

...changed the culture of the supermarket and the department store in a massive way. These sites for socialization have undergone changes as far as their social roles are concerned. This argument may be refuted by the claim that most of the perishable items that are consumed by people are still bought in stores that people physically go to. This still, however, means a reduction in the spaces that are available for the socialization of people. This brings one to a discussion of the virtuality of the internet space. Beginning from internet chatrooms to online dating and social networking sites, the space of the internet has changed to that of a virtual one where people meet and talk without being themselves...

QUESTION ONE AND TWO
...Lecturer: Question In understanding and defining a concept or a of colossal nature like ‘art’, lending an ear is necessary to the voices of the many researchers in this field. Art may mean different things to different people but, at a point of convergence on the divergent opinions lays the true purpose of art. If one was to agree with Leo Tolstoy (like I do), art is an activity where one expresses his experiences, by means of external signs, that leaves lasting impressions on others. These experiences can be transmitted through movements, sounds, colors, lines or words to make such compounded works of art as sculptors, paintings, drawings, music and dance among others( Tolstoy 5) Art is of great value...

It creates regulations in the society and ensures that societal members behave appropriately and receive necessary comfort especially when they have problems. Scholars such as Emile Durkheim and Marx Weber spent their time doing research on religion and its social role in the society. According to Durkheim, religion is an expression of individuals’ collective consciousness and society and every society has its own religion. It is important to understand whether both Muslims and Christians use the same word while referring to the referent, or use different words. Q.3. Volf asserts that the concept of “sufficient similarity” makes us understand that since the beliefs of the Christians and the Muslims about God are same, and the acts of worship are similar, hence there is sufficient similarity in the referents of both, which implies that they have the same God. Q.4. Muslims and Christians agree on: (1) There is one and only one God. (2) God is the creator of the universe. (3) God has qualities... that are...

...1. In example one, the paraphrasing is problematic because it appears to be a summary or of the entire article. There was no specific point, argument or evidence referenced in the context of idea presented in the paraphrase. Rather, this can qualify as an equivalent of the articles main thesis. One would have expected paraphrasing from a specific paragraph or sentence but this was not the case. It is difficult, therefore, to evaluate the accuracy since there was no specific reference. It is also confusing or even misleading because the paraphrase identified high student-to-professor evaluation as the main objective for the changes to instruction in colleges and universities. In reading Lord’s article it...

...is enhanced. The marketing department cannot be held accountable for the wastage or spoilage incurred by the grinding department. The department generating high production levels is not affected by another department’s operating activities. Applying the traditional cost alternative, the costs of all the departments are lumped into one cost account (Debarshi, 2011, p. 178). Consequently, the department producing the avoidable production wastes and spoilage can be erroneously made to explain one’s wasteful production process charge. This is because the total expenses and costs of all the departments are evenly divided among all the wasteful and not wasteful departments. Further,...
