Multinational Corporations: The Changing Landscape Q2 The research focuses and explores the manner in which internationalization has influences composition and performance of global companies. Global companies operate and undertake their services in more than one location country. It takes note of the emerging trends in the companies’ operations internationally. The causes and effects of internationalization are other major concern areas of this research. The current limitations to the synthesis and understanding of globalization results from lack of information and concrete data required from initial researches.

The study uses cross-sectional designs to depict a clear visual impression and pictorial synthesis of the information required. The world’s 500 largest companies act as the sample specimen used in undertaking the study. A variety of mechanisms enables the extraction of the required information including interviewing the companies’ CEOs and employees (DiMaggio 242). In addition, archived soft copy and hard copy data from all the companies form sources of the critical data and information for the research.

The Global Industry Standard Classification Systems (GICS) ranks the 500 companies into subgroups rates the financial sector, accounting as the top and largest firm. Finance is the parameter of gauging the state and strength of an economy hence the success of the financial sector is an issue of fundamental concern.Primary errors were evident during initial data collection. The entry state is a major limitation in the research because it directly translates to the final findings and conclusions.

The study, therefore, demands accurate and sure means of sampling and data extraction methods in order to draw the best and representative conclusion.Works CitedDiMaggio, Paul.
