People say that animals are killed after research.Another argument against the issue is that animal testing is sheer hypocrisy since humans take advantage of their superiority to mistreat animals.One more point against it is that scientific evidence shows examples of animal testing failures. The human body is different from animals’. Positive trials on animals have proved disastrous in animals.And the last argument against points on the waste of time and essential resources.The arguments for animal testing are the following:- There can be the use of fewer animals;- Animal testing can be used where absolutely necessary.

Thus, concluding, animal testing is not important in medical research as facts can prove it. Government and institutions should come up with measures that aim at diverting funding from animal researches to the alternative methods available. Some of these methods include the use of humans themselves where there is lawful consent of the one under research, the use of fewer animals, totally do away with animal methods, and use methods that do not cause suffering or pain to the animals under study.

This way there will be more medical research breakthroughs than we have today and funding will have gone into better use while many will have been healed.
