I really wondered how would the Mythology whose story I often heard and played in video game will be depicted in an animated movie. I was hoping that the movie will do justice to the legend and able to accurately portray the power of the gods. I was not disappointed. Suddenly, I became like a child when the movie unfolded before me anticipating in excitement what would the next scene be. The visual was so realistic and beautiful especially when Odin prevented the Frost Giants of Jotunheim Laufey in a war from conquering the earth and the Nine Realms.
The scenes where the Asgardians defeated the Frost Giants when they seized the source of their power, the “Casket of Ancient Winters” is just breathtaking. The visual was so fantastic especially in 3D that it took my breath away. The way Asgard as a realm was shown also did justice to the Mythology of how gods live. Though the character was serious, I found Heimdall, the gatekeeper of the Bilfrost as frigidly funny. Wow, I wonder how he does guarding the gate of Bilfrost almost entirely of his life without any replacement.
And just like any Mythology which imparts certain lessons to improve a character, the movie Thor fared well on this aspect also. And how it was conveyed was not corny just like many of the superhero films. It was presented in a logical and convincing manner and the delivery was realistic. My only criticism about the movie is in the latter part when Thor’s childhood friends, Volstagg, Fandral and Hogun went to earth to get Thor back. When they descended on earth, they looked so human though they haven’t lost their godly powers.
Also, the scene where Loki sent a Destroyer, a seemingly indestructible “automaton” to pursue them and kill Thor seemed to be lacking in novelty and variety. But in general, the movie was great. And I have a feeling that it will have a sequel because the story of the movie wasn’t finished. Thor made a promise to the scientist Jane Foster to come back and Jane is still waiting for him. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out. Word count: 501 Part II Changing the oil of your car is not really hard as it seemed to be.
There are simple steps for you to follow and be able to do it. Its so simple that you don’t even have to pay a mechanic to do it nor do you have to be a man to get it done. And yes, the undersigned is a female and she was able to do it. If she is able to do it, so you can; and here are the simple steps. First, use your common sense. So never change the oil in your car while the engine is still hot. I need not explain why. Find a leveled and solid ground where you can safely jack up your car in case you need to crawl under the hood.
If you are doing this the first time, better to put a piece of cardboard or anything to cover the floor just in case the oil will spill when you do the change. Also check if you have the things needed to do the oil change. You will need a new oil, a new oil filter, an open end wrench, an oil filter wrench, a funnel, and a clean rag. To change the oil, you need to drain the car of its old oil. The oil can be drained out of the oil pan at bottom of your engine. The pan has a drain plug that looks like a big bolt of which you need to remove to drain the old oil.
But before removing that, make sure that you have already positioned your container beneath the oil
