?Virtual Organizations Virtual organizations are spread left, right and center within the world of Internet. They are becoming widespread with the changing times and the possible extent of their success is imperative for one to understand. These virtual organizations are very different from the traditional organizations because they do not physically exist. It is possible to operate these virtual organizations from a single computer. The extent to which these virtual organizations have come of age has been suggested through their work domains and processes. It is for this reason that the virtual organizations are now being taken more seriously than ever before in the past. They have made a huge impact on the world of Internet and the technological manifestations which have come to the fore have stated the need for having virtual organizations in nearly all parts of the world. These are indeed the creative and innovative boutiques which have opened up at different sites and places, helped in hand by the people who want to bring out the very best within their skills and abilities, and thus contribute to the collective good of the society in the long run. The virtual organizations are being given the leverage because these have turned out to be really successful. The virtual space has meant that an online arm exists for the traditional organizations which want to engage the users more and more. They would like to have a comprehensive outlook on the part of the users, readers, customers and the like. This is something that poses an area with immense opportunities from a strategic perspective. The virtual organizations are therefore those organizations which are producing the best possible results through hard work and devotion, a fact that has been emphasized upon a great deal by their work ethos, results and the related attachments (Black, 2001). Nearly every organization that exists in this day and age has an online manifestation within the cyber space. These organizations want to send out a message of collective success not only for their own selves but also for the sake of the end consumers. This is something that comes out as a definite positive and one which shall harness the basis of success within the traditional organizations from the long term scheme of things. The virtual organizations are being compared to traditional ones but the most basic difference that comes to reckoning is the fact that the latter have a definitive basis while the virtual organizations are only apparent on the virtual map of the world. These differences are visible through state of the art technological regimes which are widespread in nearly all avenues of the world (Gressgard, 2011). The virtual organizations are therefore those organizations that are bringing out the best possible results for the technological realms but whether or not these are producing the desired results is something that remains a mystery even to this day. This is because there are certain virtual organizations which are unable to strike big and that too in an easy manner. The need is to weigh the differences between the traditional organizations and the virtual organizations, and then compare the two for finding out the best between them. However the roles of these two are varied in their own respective ways. When it comes to flexibility and freedom, these virtual organizations are the best within such settings. The people behind these virtual organizations enjoy the luxury of working at their own disposal since they do not have to sit at a single location (office place) and thus work to good effect for handling the organizational tasks and routines (Abebe, 2007). What these people do within such virtual organizations is something that must be understood within the proper settings because the virtual organizations are always backed up with people who can do more work per se, and thus commit at completing small tasks and chores, all on their own. The virtual organizations need to be given the leeway at times because these are not really developed in the literal sense of the word. There is no paper work at times, and it has often been seen that these bring out a host of problems for the people who run them in entirety. Since there is no proper methodology behind these virtual organizations, it is apparent that there would be predicaments stemming from a number of different angles (Shehkar, 2006). And this happens for a number of reasons nonetheless. What is needed now is a proactive approach to understand how virtual organizations have been successful and how these will embody more success in the times to follow. New forms of organizational learning are incorporated through mechanisms where technological understandings are envisaged upon at great lengths. What this signifies is the need to comprehend that technology does play a very significant role within the work realms of organizational learning. The virtual organizations are bolstered by the people who are at the helm of affairs within such organizations and who are the decision makers behind such discussions. They make sure that the work is carried on in an adequate capacity and that success is the middle ground for achieving sound results in the long run. The virtual organizations are therefore dependent on the actions and incorporations of the top management realms so that the success graph is ensured from the long term scheme of things (Zairi, 2003). If these are not properly embedded, there would be immense issues that would crop up from a strategic perspective and the entire functioning regimes of the organization would fall back on its feet. The virtual organizations therefore have an advantage over the traditional organizations where the former are supported by the lack of any formal structures in place. The absence of structures and hierarchies makes the tasks of the virtual organizations very easy to conduct and they do not have to be accountable for their actions and steps to everyone. However in the case of companies like Google, MSN and Yahoo, these are treated differently, where the same are virtual organizations but developed into the formal organizations with the passage of time as well. This was because they needed staff on board so that their actions and steps could be given a legal cover, and to increase the number of staff as well in the first place (Manthou, 2003). More than anything else, there is a dire need to understand that the virtual organizations are always dependent on the people who put into actuality the foundation stone of the organization itself. If these people believe that the virtual organization would be carried out in a manner that there are only formal relationships through a proper structure at the workplace domains, then this would mean that the traditional concept of organizations would come into the reckoning. On the other hand, if there is emphasis on getting the job done through a virtual space on the Internet or through any other technology, which has been made present in the time and age of today, or in the coming times, then this could be done as such too. Virtual space is consequently a phenomenon which has received a great deal of attention in the recent times. This is because the virtual organizations are depending on the virtual spaces more and more. What this has done is to make sure that the virtual organizations are doing their tasks properly and without any such logistical or any other hassle coming to the fore. In essence, these are significant pointers which need to be taken into consideration before one can remark the same as being a truly corrective viewpoint (Greenes, 2006). The virtual spaces take care of the virtual organizations which are cropping up every now and so often. It is a positive point that the virtual organizations are relying on the positives of the virtual spaces and therefore doing their work in accordance with the wishes and requirements of the virtual space regimes. The role of the people behind such undertakings is an important one because they need to realize that much success is depending upon their shoulders and that they need to get their act together for the long term success of these virtual organizations. What is most important is a need to get the act straight and come out clean for the sake of the organizational philosophy which is much required and much sought after. In the end, it would be fair to suggest that the virtual organizations have a role to play within this day and age. They need to come out in an apparent manner as far as their work domains are concerned so that the future holds strong for these virtual organizations (Voss, 1996). It would be correct to fathom that these virtual organizations are being appreciated by the business hubs and settings, and it is about time that the employees within them are also praised for the immense work routines that they commit to.
