 English Composition ClassIt is very encouraging in relation to how I have been able to achieve a good understanding of the basics of English writing through the attendance of the English composition class. The learning outcomes have been diverse and my individual independence has grown considerably since I joined the class. I have learnt on how to appreciate writing which has had an effect on some of my previous tendencies such as procrastination which affected my development in English. Through the experience I have been able to acquire skills which have had a positive effect on my being in reference to English specialization.

As a result of the above experiences, my command in English has improved and my experience and approach to other subjects such as history has been advanced since I can express myself better.My learning outcomes as illustrated above have been diverse with the main motivation being the overall abilities acquired through the course. So far I have been able to exhibit a proper understanding of grammar which is captured through improved sentence structures and through grammar usage. My scope of writing has improved and I can be able to write effectively with the inclusion of thesis statement and other minor structural factors that define the success of any English composition class.

Through the attendance of the class, I have been able to link up the different aspects of composition writing, through developing a proper beginning to an essay, developing the body of the essay and also in elaborating the conclusion which captures the entirety of the essay written. Reid (2000)Other additions have been in relation to organization both derived from an individual basis and also as reflected on the essays I have written. The composition class has engaged my reasoning which have aided in the arrangement of my essays through the integration of different strategies ranging from transitional devices which guarantee improved flow and consistency in my presentations.

Through the change, I have learnt how to express different tones and level of formality in my essay examples which has proved vital in capturing the attention of the audience and improved individual awareness. In relation to the assertion above, through embracing diversity in writing, my cognitive skills have improved resulting to analytical thinking, critical reading and improved awareness of the subject matter. In general, the acquisition of the above skills will aid in my research papers and also in papers detailing the presentation of an argument to elaborate the basis of a chosen viewpoint.

Through the development of my skills I have been able to write in different genres incorporating the overall needs of the target audience which has also been dependent on purposeful writing. Through compliance with the requirements above, I have been able to include all the essential aspects of any essay in my essay with specific interests associated to the incorporation of primary and experiential research for comprehensive encapsulation of the required information. Through the incorporation of different aspects of research derived from different authors, my overall scope in writing has emerged to be more diverse and the balance in writing has been achieved through paraphrasing and summarizing the essential information in the essay.

Other development areas have in form of expressing rhetorical situations in writing which has improved my approach towards engaging the audience and alsoin expressing information sprang from authors through proper citations.
