Living in the USA I have lived in the USA for about five years now. I came to this country to pursue my college education, after clearing secondary education in my home country. Being in this country has been an experience worth documenting. It has been wonderful though there have been bad times as well.
United States of America is one place that has taught me to blend with people from all walks of life. Since I came here, I have virtually met people of all races, from each and every continent. This has enabled me learn different cultures and appreciate international diversity.
The diverse cultures, backgrounds and religions were a challenge that I cannot forget. There are peculiar ways that people behave depending on their background. Some bodily gestures are interpreted differently, an issue that can be quite embarrassing at times. I remember waving to some Asians, when I was still new, a sign that was meant to be positive but was interpreted very rudely by the same friends. I however came to learn and appreciate the cultural difference.
In the United States, I have come to experience some challenge in religion. In my home country, religion is freely expressed in institutions of learning and in other public places, a matter prohibited by the American law. This is an issue that made think negatively of the country and take the country to be against the conventional religions. I however came to learn that it was for the best interest of the citizens as it reduced chances of religions going against each other.
Above the various challenges that I came across, I cannot regret having decide to school in America as the knowledge I have gained, in and out of class, is indispensable. I can now relate with virtually any person and can survive in so many countries. My mind has been opened up to cultural diversification. Read More

...? Great relationships are built on trust. This is not the type of thing you read on the covers of magazines you read in the checkout line in the supermarket. They are all about how to lose 25 pounds in three weeks or how to excite your man. They never give any real advice like trusting your boyfriend will cause you to grow closer and closer. They never say that you won’t be so self conscious if you know your partner cares deeply for you because you have shared your most private thoughts...

Bad Habits of Good Employees

...Bad Habits of Good Employees Dealing with bad habits of efficient employees is one of the toughest tasks managers have to undertake. On one hand they need to be told when they are in the wrong because other employees might pick up their habits as legitimate because of their status as efficient employees. And on the other hand directly confronting them may alienate them and affect their performance in the office (Shepard, 2005). Edna Norton is not only a senior member of my team but one of the most valued employees I have. Direct confrontation or strict action is not suitable in this regard because of the quality of her work. What I would do is call a general meeting in the office and outline the progress of different cases... that are...

Hence, the main purpose of the article is to urge teachers to indulge in a proper thinking process when it comes to the appropriate teaching of the subject. Also, the paper urges the need for the in-depth analysis of the concepts of mathematics and stresses the importance of the question of ‘why’ rather than the question of ‘how.’ From the article, it can be observed that the author really does feel about the issue. ...because he feels like a dog and his wife has the leash. Affairs reverse the relationship between men and women, where the latter predominantly become men’s dogs. Gurov talks about women who crave for love and attention by achieving that through their affairs. They eagerly give themselves to him as if slaves to Gurov’s passions. Gurov, on the contrary, is more attracted to the power he gains in every affair. Power comes from the novelty of each affair and his ability to skillfully handle them. He treats his affairs as novel experiences that include a “light and charming adventure” where “everything is simple and amusing” (Chekhov 569). When these affairs become...

...The use of tone in literature and everyday life In literature, tone is that choice of words which enables the reader to understand the attitude of the writer towards a particular subject.
