This paper discusses the differences and similarities between the two stories with respect to the major characters.
Stressed, lonely, and living in regret, the Lady in Red character re-lives memories of what life used to be when he had money. From trips to Europe, having the best car, friends, and house, but all these seem to have faded and reduced him to a street beggar. The character portrays life on the fast lane and life on the street. The astounding factor in this story is that life is unpredictable, as the character puts it, “today, you could own the best car, and tomorrow you could be begging on the streets” (LeMieu45). He used to have many friends who would join in the thanksgiving celebration and drink the finest wine. Additionally, loving family members would show up on different occasions and have a good laugh. However, life turned against the professional sports writer, and salesman who had excellent skills in business. All that he was left with was his old car, and his dog, Willow, who never left his side. From begging on the streets and being chased from stores he used to shop, the character seems to have lost hope and the zeal to live again. However, he finds closure when he packs his car in the usual sanctuary where many homeless people stay. This gives him the motivation that he is not the only one in the universe going through pain and suffering.
Similarly, the Hawk character goes through the same tribulations despite having a prosperous past. The Hawk character sleeps in a tent inside a community football pitch. He used to be a reputed football player back in the day, and received recognition from community members. However, after going into business, things failed to work in his favor, and he ended up homeless. Luckily, people of the community were compassionate and let him stay in the field as long as he would not interfere with the daily activities taking place. He once had a caring heart, but all

The success of Lady Gaga is multidimensional; from her, nearly 9 million followers on Twitter and more than 1.3 million combined views on YouTube, to her multitude of television interviews and sold-out concerts. Although many celebrities allow fame and money to consume them, Lady Gaga uses her status in the media to share and support equality.
The Lady with the Dog is such a short story that has no climax, no complication, and no conclusion as well. Even the story ends at the word “beginning”, which makes it different from the other short stories. The purpose of this paper is to present a discussion related to the four sections into which the story is divided, while mentioning where each of these sections starts and ends, scrutinizing the mood and theme particular of each section, and the overall effect of such division of sections in the story on the readers.
The theory of Karma, though originated from Hinduism, has its influence on every theology. "We need a theory of culture that recognizes the powerful influences on the human action of forces that do not operate directly through human consciousness and intention, but also of forces that importantly motivate human action through consciously held ideas, beliefs, and commitments. And we need a theory of culture that accounts for the very real operation of rationally self-interested choice in human life..”
It is a story about a semi-barbaric king who devised a system of justice, where crime would be punished based on the suspect’s choice: either to be devoured by a ferocious tiger, or be wed to a fair lady. The king has a daughter, the Princess, who fell in love with a man of lower stature; thereby, causing the man’s alleged imposition to crime and to the justice system that prevailed.
The history of the black hawk war shows that during the period, gross Human rights injustices were carried out by both the Native American Indians and the Mormon militias fighting to protect themselves. The war had a big significance to American history because the federal government did not step him to stop the massacre of its citizens. During the 1865-1867 black hawk war in Utah, both the white settlers and Indian tribes committed gross human rights abuses.
Robert Pippin states the following about this masterpiece “This sense of being lost, once these conventions are invoked and then refused, is the main effect on any viewer, and seems a major point of the film itself” (Pippin, 1). Even when someone is lost in the scenario of the movie, one can clearly detect good characters with big hearts from the oftentimes one dimensional bad guys.
The patronizing public is a brilliant critic. People can sense if there is some truth to a report on the news channel. Individuals have the capability to sort out a hoax detail from the actual bits of pieces. It is never unacceptable but the general public has to live with some distorted facts.
