English Language Mistakes By al Affiliation May 4, From the comments d by a critical friend, I was advised that my English language mistakes are as follows: (1) my inability to comprehensively proof read what I have written in various discourses; (2) some tendencies to make grammatical mistakes, especially in terms of spelling of confusing words, as well as in the appropriate placement of punctuation marks; (3) my limited vocabulary where I could allegedly still improve the writing style if more appropriate words are selected and used; and (4) the tendencies to write long sentences, composed of compound phrases rather than simple and accurate sentences.
From the list, I could watch out for these mistakes and be more aware of ways to avoid them by following these strategies: (1) I would make it a point to proofread what I have written prior to submission of the required discourse to avoid inability to correct obvious mistakes (spelling and other grammatical errors); (2) to correct grammatical mistakes, I would be more vigilant of correct spelling and use the spelling and grammar check as soon as I have completed my work. Likewise, I can seek the assistance of a critical friend to review what has been written and to assist in identify areas of weaknesses which could still be improved; (3) to enhance my vocabulary, I would engage in more reading activities, especially on subjects that interest me. Eventually, I plan to pursue further reading on varied subject matters to be more knowledgeable in current events and other areas of interest which could be used as subjects of engaging conversation with others; (4) I would be more aware of sentence structures and adhere to the rule that one should observe writing or stating information in simple and accurate sentences, rather than using compound or complex sentences. I plan to improve my writing and verbal ability to communicate through correcting these mistakes. Read More

Critical Mistakes which Should be Avoided

...and directories when it needs to access them. This makes the renamed pointer invalid, and the administrator has to manually locate all the related files and link them. Another problem that is created by incomplete renaming is seen when the administrator will be doing a system clean up. He or she is likely to delete these files and directories. This happens because, in the midst of cleaning up the file stores, he or she will not be able to immediately match these files to any object; this will lead to their deletion, which will have devastating effects. This critical mistake can be avoided by ensuring that during the renaming process, a...

...nine months in the company (Hartley 163). Previously he had been vice president at Boeing and the general manager in charge of customer service. When Bethune took over at continental, it had two major problems. The first problem was employee motivation. We all know that, since a long time, children have no authority over their parents. Parents fail to understand that the world is changing and should accept a challenge from their ones. Children should also not keep the information to themselves. They should make it universal and use it to enact changes in their societies. In addition, teachers and instructors should encourage the young generation to stand and speak out not considering what society has to say about them (children). It is due to the social studies subject that I had to hate a certain denomination. The...

...especially if the business has a short employee turnover rate. To the company, regular expenses aimed at training employees make it a problem for employers to fire their employees rather than fix them. Based on the employee’s input and output, the employer can compare the performance of that particular employee against the standard acceptable levels (11). The employee is then asked to provide a detailed self-analysis regarding the poor performance. If...
