Hi Warner, according to your general opinion regarding the matter of the abolishment of taking junky food in the country, in my own opinion taking junky food ought to be regulated in the country. This is to control the healthier eating habits of American citizens. A controlled food intake makes individuals much healthier hence having a long life span. This, therefore, improves the socio-economic life of the individuals as the improved health standards make it easier to undertake duties.

According to research conducted by Haugen and David healthier diet for our children will help in their growth and development hence making it much easier for them to have a healthy life. Once the diet of the children is not checked, it will result in health problems such as obesity, marasmus, and kwashiorkor among other nutritional disorders. Nutritional disorders eventually affect the life of individuals as they will result in body failures and disadvantaged characters (Zoumbaris and Sharon 67).

The help of various nutritional organizations such as the National Research Council will make it much easier in facilitating the ideas of diet checkups. The government through the campaign propelled by the first lady will be able to reach the many individuals within the different states in the country. Raising the nutritional status of American citizens is on the rise to promote nutritional suitability for a healthy life.

With the support of nutritional companies, Michelle Obama will be able to reach his target of promoting healthier eating among Americans by advocating against taking of junky and fatty foods. The foods tend to be less nutritional henceforth being discouraged from taking them. They also tend to be more likely to cause diseases that might be terminal such as cancer. Excessive taking of junky foods may also cause nutritional diseases such as diabetes.
