The dog fails to follow the trainer, and then the trainer forcefully tries to teach. This example shows the responses of a certain living thing as per the condition. Similarly in a class the learning relationship forms between a student and a teacher. Classical conditioning is the passive part of a leaner, whereas in operant the teacher wants the learner to be active, and also praise the learner with rewards on achieving the particular task (Cherry). Learning impact also relate with the school of thought.
Cognitive school of thought, it involves; information process – this process involves that how a learner is taking the taught information in his/her head, and how the/she uses that information when needed. It is basically remembering the provided information in a leaner’s head. Meaningful learning – it is how the learner responses to the new information. How he/she takes that information and organizes & structures the information, effectively. For an example; how a learner effectively uses the information, in problematic situations.
Cognitive approaches to learning and teaching – it involves how the teaching of a teacher impacts the learning ability of a learner. How the teacher is presenting a topic to its students. Does the provided information related to the factors already known by the students? Or how the new information is injected and taken by the learners’ .The student learning essentially relies on the variety of teaching. Humanistic school of thought, it involves; beliefs of humanistic schools – this learning build the self-confidence, self-worth among the learner.
If a leaner owes the good feeling and full confidence in him/her then it enhances the academic achievements. The learning environment should be provided according to the learner, not where the leaner tries to fit in. The students should be accepted as they are, by the teachers so, that the learning impacts effectively on mind & body. Humanistic approach to learning
