What is a "dragon lady," and how does this stereotype reflect gender and racial issues within globalization?The ‘dragon lady’ is perceived as dangerous and a danger to the western heroes. They are also described as ‘the inherently scheming, untrustworthy and backstabbing’ (Jiwani 185). This implies that they are a danger to all men who cross their paths. In addition, they are also perceived as exotic, erotic and dangerous to males. It raised problems within the issues of globalization because it creates a bias against certain women and thus denies them the chance to be on an equal footing (Jiwani 186).

Is there such a thing as a globalized heroine or hero? Can there be a concept of hero that is disconnected from a specific culture?The full text offers little indication that a hero can be globalized. Due to the stereotypes against minorities, there is always going to be a gap. This underrepresentation is mainly created by the media and its portrayal of the minorities. It is impossible for the hero to be disconnected from a particular culture. Her education, connection to her farther and line of work endear her to the western culture and thus create a bias (Jiwani 187).
