My Goal Statement My personal goal depends on my career objective and the experience I have academically, and in the working environment. As for my education, I graduated from X college with a 3.4 GPA major in Accounting. In college, I gained the experience of analyzing accounts, bookkeeping, and auditing companies. The information I got was important to help me set, and achieve my goals. Additionally, I gained experience while working at a certain company where my main role was bookkeeping.

Additionally, I prepared the financial statement, summarized cash disbursements and cash receipts, prepared tax forms for individual & corporate, Utilized QuickBooks and so forth. Currently, I own a restaurant, in which from July 2011-present, I have been the manager and owner of the restaurant that I opened from scratch. My key responsibilities are keeping track of cash flow, supervise and schedule 15 full time and part time employees, Conduct inventory & payroll, conduct accounts receivable and payable and other managerial tasks.

Since I have my personal goal that I need to state, I can't beat the same level, and I need to rise above levels and shine. Currently, I plan to sell my business and upgrade so as to rise to new levels. This will be done through engaging in something bigger and something meaningful with higher income. Secondly, now that I am studying the GMAT, I have applied a master's program for accounting and finance, which I will be starting this summer part-time. This current goal will see me rise to new and better levels in life.

Now that nothing is impossible with God, I hold on to God to help me achieve my goals. As for the job opportunity available, the job duties also define my goals. The first duty is to identify the existing data resources, review legislation, coordinate research areas, and review external and internal reports, as well as policies and regulations of concern., and finally, performing work assignments. Secondly, developing plans to make the accomplishment of assignments in agreement with necessary procedures, policies, and standards.

I would provide input setting standards for the assignments accomplishments including staff days of effort, and the scope, depth, as well as, analysis of the research.Thirdly, is to present the project’s results during team meetings and briefings. Additionally, I would conduct researchers, gather information and analyze it to create influence on the new project proposals. To add on, I should communicate project objectives/plans to audit team, Agency staff, and OIG executives during meetings.

Basing on the job requirements these duties are set on me and thus the goals in my life are set. The main reason as to why it should sell my business is to settle for this job. The requirements of the job state if I have the desire to analyze and solve problems, advise millions of retired and disabled individuals and work on a team to make a change in people's lives and my own. As discussed earlier my past goals, job experience, current job requirements and job duties define my future goals.

Some of the goals realized are selling off my business, acquiring the available job that is in my field and enroll for a master's degree in accounting and finance.
