In Denmark, for example, workers enjoy a strong job rights and there is an extensive childcare support for working mothers. Such laws encourage both men and women to engage in gainful employment. The Danish government provides a flexible and secure labor market for its employees, and this positively influences the lifestyle of the workers. It is noteworthy that Denmark has the lowest poverty rates especially among families with children and has a high employment rate for women. According to Crompton and Lyonette, this situation places the employees at a good position and ensures that the welfare of these workers, as well as that of their children, is taken into consideration. In contrast to the UK situation, it is imperative that Denmark is more considerate to the welfare of its employees.
