Feeling after this semester - Essay Example

Feelings after this Semester After this taking this I feel that my writing skills have improved significantly. Before I was unsure about how to structure my sentences so that they flowed, but now I know how to structure a paragraph so that it is easy to read. This has also helped my ability to write an essay. I did not previously understand what information to include and how to plan it, but I have learned that starting out with an outline is the best way to come up with a great essay. It is then up to me to find relevant information to include and then organize it in a way that is easy to understand.

Although in my opinion my writing skills have improved a lot during the course, I still feel that there are some things that I need to work on before Composition II. I sometimes write sentences that are too long and it is either hard for the reader to know what I am trying to say or they get lost in reading it. I need to remember that my sentence structure needs to be short and straight to the point rather than dragging an idea on more than it needs to. If I had a suggestion for you, then I would say that giving revision lessons every once and a while would make sure that I remember everything that I have learned.

I sometimes forget simple concepts and this makes it hard for me to learn new techniques.
