What do photographs say about the world we live in today?
The world today has grown up so immensely to over a billion people with each person having a story to tell. Photographs capture the images and moments of people around us, family, neighbors and all people we encounter in our journey of life. They thus reveal the many facets of humanity (Scott 39).
Has the meaning of photographs changed over time?
Haggart mentions that “Ed Freeman alters his pictures because he claims it is a type of art” (127). With progression in technology, photograph and their engagement has been significantly transformed over time. We live in a world of atheistic beauty where we consciously or unconsciously see various images on daily basis.
In ancient days, photographs were mainly hand-drawn and they were primarily meant to convey certain messages and preserve a rich piece of history.
