My best friend Max and his distant cousin Gabriel had come over to play video games. After sometime, I noticed my laptop was missing and confirmed this after looking for it all over the house. Max insisted that only Gabriel could have taken it since he was the only person among us who had gone outside. Max insisted we beat him up until he produced the laptop, but after thinking very carefully, I realized that beating him up would do more harm than good so I decided to leave the issue with the police to solve it. I reported the matter to the police, and Gabriel owned up and I got my laptop back.
