As for the climax, what a great idea to have Katniss triumph over the Hunger Games with the poisonous berries! I thought one of the cleverest part of the games was giving the mutts the faces of the dead contestants: this increased the horror of that scene. The slow build-up of love between Katniss and Peeta (with Gale as the third part of the triangle) made me root for Peeta. He is such a gentleman, in the finest sense of the word. I am keeping my fingers crossed, and hope that it is Peeta who will finally be Katniss’s choice.
