Extract of sample "Cross-Cultural Parenting"

In Gueissi culture, mothers were responsible for physical responsibilities like nurturing and caring physically the social and intellectual development responsibilities rely on caregivers. On the other hand, the Chinese style of parenting relied mainly on securing the attachment of their child. Thus, the main attribute of raising a child is reliant upon the interdependence and independence theory. The family supports the interdependence of the child but promotes independence in the social circle. Caregivers play a significant role and take a personal interest in the good fare of children (Reebye, year {unknown}).

Mothers in Gueissi culture nourished children with physical needs but intellectual was the responsibility of caregivers. However, mothers raising children in China encourage children to learn family values and norms to interact appropriately but do not solely rely on caregivers. However, both cultures depend upon the caregiver more than the individual and sole parenting.

The attachment theory incorporates the idea that feeding and taking care of physical needs is not the only attachment a child requires; they are the instinctual needs of a human baby directly from the closest relation, i.e. mother. Insecurities raised anxiety in children and the inclination of psychological malfunctioning was observed in them.
