I will indicate the importance and benefits that the Artificial Pancreas can provide for these patients and assist them in leading an easier life.Introduction: Dr. Michelle Magee who is a specialist in endocrinology and works at the Washington Hospital Center stated that, “For people with type 1 diabetes, the artificial pancreas has been kind of the holy grail of technology to support self-management of diabetes.

”Main Points:Type 1 Diabetes affects the normal functional capacity of the pancreas which cannot produce insulin in proper amounts.The glucose levels may become reduced below normal or the levels may increase above the normal range.The patients have to check their blood sugar again and again and administer insulin as per the results.The artificial pancreas system works towards providing insulin to the body according to its demands and maintaining the glucose level in normal limitsThus, the patient does not need to monitor their glucose continuously and administer insulin.

The device is being researched and it can provide for proper management of type 1 diabetes.Conclusion: I have learnt that wit research and experimentation, human life can be made much easier and the human pathologies can become manageable.
