It is also very touching as it shows the persona also confused: will she support the boyfriend or not. Ultimately, she does because of her duty as a girlfriend but we know that she only does so because it’s her duty, and not because she passionately believes on the causes of the boyfriend.

Her practicality even reaches up to the point that she knows what will happen to her after college, and the implications of being in college: “but over all once you attended college, you were on the straight-and-narrow path.
