Ian Beam’s Story Denzel Designs is a company that makes clothing for all kinds of individuals. The company is located in the middle of a suburb in New York City. It is well known in the area because of its designer clothes and accommodative prices. Most of its customers are the middle class and high-class members of that society. Therefore, each passing year, it makes increasing profits over and over again. In fact, most of its customers make orders which are then delivered to their homes at any time. The company has over five hundred employees, including well known designers in the region. Mr. Denzel Lawrence is the owner of that clothing line. The C.E.O of the company is Ian Beam. He is a brown and extremely tall Swedish gentleman, in addition to being down to earth. He cooperates well with all employees in that company. He owns a large mansion in New York City, where he lives happily with his cute wife, Diana. On this particular morning, he had several meetings with the designers in the company, to review some of the designs they had created that week. The meetings went extremely well, and Mr Ian was happy with the designs in place. Thus, he gave them a go ahead of putting those designs into clothes. As soon as the last meeting was over, his wife called and said, “Honey, I hope you are having a fantastic day at work. I just missed you and wished to hear your sexy voice again.” One could tell from the tone of her voice that they were madly in love. At the middle of their conversation, his secretary cut him short telling him that the boss, Mr. Denzel, wanted to speak with him. Therefore, he hurriedly wished his wife a fantastic day and rushed to find out what the boss wanted. Apparently, Mr. Denzel was equally a people’s person. He loved cracking jokes here and there to keep his conversations jovial. In addition, he was so in love with statues. His office was covered with a lot of statues of all shapes and sizes. One could think he was worshipping them. Later on in the afternoon, Mr Ian was scheduled to hold another meeting with other investors in the company. However, they called on time to cancel the meeting to the relief of the CEO. Therefore, he decided to take that golden opportunity to rush home early and surprise his wife. On his way home, he stopped near a flower shop to buy a bouquet of roses for his wife. Apparently, he was a frequent customer in that flower shop. This is because he loved giving his wife some flowers each time he had that opportunity. He drove home smiling all the way, listening to some cool music. All through, he was fantasizing about the happy moments they would spend with his wife that afternoon. He anxiously opened the door to his luxurious mansion and went ahead to the kitchen first to take a cup of water. Surprisingly, he was very anxious to meet his wife that early. He laughed at himself quietly thinking aloud, ‘she is my wife for crying out loud and not a girl I just met and have a crush on hahaha.’ He was madly in love with his wife, so he tried to calm himself down by saying that probably that was the reason behind the anxious feeling he had. Some strange noises in the bedroom cut his thoughts short. He picked up some kitchen knife and tiptoed towards the bedroom. What he saw upon opening the bedroom door almost made him drop dead in disappointment: There was his wife in bed with another man! He thought: “What the hell? You mean Diana has been cheating on me all through, and I have never suspected. Oh God, why was I so stupid and blinded by her sweet words?” He closed the door without uttering a single word and left quietly with painful tears on his eyes. On his way out, he saw a key holder with the name of his boss written on it. This made him even more confused. “Of all other people, why did she have to cheat on me with my own boss? Oh God, I thought my boss was my friend.” He just got into his car and drove carelessly with no direction in his mind. He was just driving to get as far away from his house as possible. At that moment he was determined to forget his wife. He felt so betrayed, and he thought that everybody in the neighborhood knew about the cursed relationship. He suddenly came to a halt in an isolated place and decided to give his thoughts some time to rule. In a flash of light, out of nowhere, a shabbily dressed dark guy was in his car pointing a gun at him. “Give me your wallet and your car’s keys and get the hell out of here or else I will blow your brains off!” The heavily built dark guy boomed. However, Mr. Ian had gone through the hell of his life that day, so he felt he had nothing else to lose. Instead, he locked all the car’s doors and accelerated the speed driving towards the neighboring forest. He drove at such a high speed that the thug was terrified. “I beg you, Mr, just give me your wallet and your will never see me again”. Ian just laughed sarcastically and opened the front window, “so you want my wallet, go get it outside hahahahaha.” He threw his wallet with all the money, his credit cards and ATMs outside and drove off even faster. This made the thug even more terrified and he started confessing that the gun was not even loaded. “I just use it to scare the hell out of people so that I can at least feed my family each day. Please have mercy on me, Mr. I have two kids at home who are counting on me to get to school and to feed their stomachs.” Unfortunately, his pleas fell on deaf ears. He had attempted robbery on a man who was having the worst nightmare of his life. They drove quietly for many hours until they came across a diner. Ian pulled off the car and ordered the thug to get the hell out of his presence. He then walked lazily towards the diner and ordered a cup of coffee. On his part, the miserable thug decided to stop some of the moving cars in the deserted road to no avail. He, therefore, decided to beg Ian to take him back home. On entering the diner, he found Ian arguing with the waitress because he was unable to pay for the cup of coffee he was taking. His state of mind at the moment had made him totally forget that he had thrown his wallet out of the window. Therefore, he had no penny on him. The thug came to his rescue and paid for his cup of coffee, and they immediately walked out of the diner. Later on, seated in Ian’s car, they decided to open up to each other. The thug said his name was Leornado Washington. Ian opened up and narrated the reason behind his foul mood. However, all through, Washington could not understand the reason why he left them unharmed. “You could have taught the stupid man a lesson”. Therefore, they set up a plan to rob the designer house of its entire savings in the safe because Ian knew all the passwords required. He wanted to take revenge on his boss for taking over his wife. They were extremely exhausted that night; therefore, they decided to spend the night in Washington’s house. On arrival, they were given a warm welcome by his wife and his two beautiful kids. Ian really admired that family and wondered why such a man would engage himself in armed robbery. The wife set one of the seats in the living room for Ian to sleep and all of them bid him goodnight. As he could not find any sleep right away, he decided to view some of the photographs on the wall. He then saw some certificates lying lazily on the table and, to his amazement, it turned out Washington was a qualified electrical engineer and technician! The following day, they woke up and made final preparations regarding their plan to rob the company. They made sure that they bought some masks to conceal their faces. At the strike of midnight, they made their way towards the company. Luckily, Ian had worked in that company for more than thirty years and thus knew which route was not guarded. They maneuvered through the compound and, at last, they managed to get into the company’s safe. They made sure that their masks were on due to the numerous security cameras. They hurriedly emptied the safe and, just as they were about to leave that office, Ian felt there was something he had to do. Therefore, he slashed all the statues in the boss’s office and then removed his mask and faced the camera. “See that Mr. Denzel, that is the price you have to pay for messing and sleeping around with my wife. Nobody messes around with me and goes out unpunished!” With that, they left the office. Eventually, they walked out of that building in black suits and dark sunglasses. They looked contented with what they had accomplished despite wearing serious faces. Anyone who could have seen them at the moment would have mistaken them for extremely established businessmen. They walked briskly out of that building at around three thirty in the morning. Feeling contented, Ian decided to call his wife and congratulate her for cheating on him. However, on the other side, his wife was very worried about his whereabouts. “Honey, I have been trying to reach you for hours but to no avail, are you okey?” Ian felt some painful tears run down his cheeks as he told her: “I saw you on Friday afternoon. You were in bed with my boss and that made me very disappointed in you.” The wife was so surprised by those words: “No honey, on Friday I overstayed at my place of work. That was my sister and her fiancee. They called to inform me that they were at the airport, so I sent the driver to get them and take them home.” Those words felt like music to his ears. The fact that his wife was not cheating on him made him relieved and jovial. However, he had a major problem: He had created a lot of damage in the company and had also shown his face to the security cameras. He felt so ashamed of himself at what he had done out of anger. Therefore, he had a word with Washington, and they decided to take the money back to the safe before daylight. Washington also helped erase all the evidence in the security cameras proving that he was indeed qualified in his job. They shook hands, and each one of them left for his home. Diana was so happy to see her husband safe and sound again, and he apologized for judging her so harshly. The following morning, Ian went to the office as usual in an extremely happy mood. All hell broke loose when the boss arrived and saw all the damages done to his statues. No evidence could be found in the security cameras, and this make him even more furious.
