? Research Problem ment Task Main Problem The research problem s: What are the business management problems and their effects? Brief Description of the Problem Many businesses are losing colossal proportions of money because of bad management. This paper states a research problem, which presents numerous challenges in the business industry. Since this management problem presents setbacks to organizations, there have been constant attempts to solve the problem. However, these solutions become irrelevant because diverse managerial problems keep emerging at a constant rate. Dennis & Meola (2009) give an example of UK firms, which lose approximately 19 million dollars daily due to bad management. This is moderately attributable to the firm’s wastage of time due to their leader’s inefficiency. It is evident that the significant bits of organization include its management to great extents. For a business to address the needs of its employees, leaders, and consumers, it needs proper management. Therefore, it becomes extremely problematic for organizations to realize acceptable profits when they have such poor management. Most entities fail because their managers focus on increasing their sales and quality of their goods. Indeed such categories of headship do not care about the general organization of their institutions, hence increasing management problems. This makes them forget their roles in control and organizing, as well as the workers’ roles. The goals of many businesses entail increasing the outputs and lowering the expenses. A balance of these two ideas of increment in output and expense reduction obviously qualifies for perfect management. Conversely, these are short-term benefits because the businesses success depends on the long-term benefits, which entail motivating the personnel, but most administrators ignore this. The motivation of employees helps in the creation of a functional business environment (Dennis & Meola, 2009). Evidently, this functional business is devoid of poor management and all the negativities associated with such leadership. The sub problems evident from the question above include Poor leadership Poor communication Poor organizational structure Organizational culture Decision-making Policies Possible Sub-problems Poor Leadership Hypothesis Leaders with good leadership skills will motivate the employees. If organizational leaders involve the workers in the management of the business, the business will perform highly Brief Description Effective management entails good leadership and proper communication. Poor leadership tendencies are the most noticeable management problems in businesses. According to Dennis & Meola (2009), some leaders in organizations are incompetent making organizations fail to realizing their goals because of their inability to foresee the business challenges (Dennis & Meola, 2009). Additionally, they fail to challenge the employees making the workers perform poorly. Poor leaders are usually inexperienced and cannot handle conflicts in an organization. As such, the inability to control conflicts by the leaders in a firm is a sign of poor management. In Poor Decision Making Hypothesis Proper decision making in an organization will increase the corporate efficiency Brief Description Another sub-problem, which is common in the corporate institutions, is the phenomenon of decision-making. Evidently, decision-making affects the operation of organizations to exemplary levels. When there is poor management running any organization, it is obvious that the consequent decisions will be inappropriate. An organization only achieves its goals and other ultimatums if the management makes proper decisions. It then becomes a chief problem when these decisions present challenges to the behavior of the human resources. Certain decisions, which the management of the organization makes, affect the organization because of the mentioned relationship. Therefore, an organization has trouble when relevant decision making departments fail to deliver by making poor decisions. In particular, decisions must enable an entity attain its goals in efficient ways (Dennis & Meola, 2009). If there is no realization of this category of efficiency in the achievement of goals, then a problem occurs. The consequent problem, which occurs makes the organization incur abnormal rates of loses. In addition, such problems, which originate from poor decisions, make the organization to have questionable Public Relations. All organizations, which have Public Relations issues, register extreme losses that, could lead to close of the operations of the business. In addition, the implementation of decisions has to be professional to avoid problems that arise from incompetent human resources (Stare, 2011). Poor Policies Hypothesis Suitable policies in the organization will increase its profitability Brief Description of Sub-Problem Policies in the organization enable the execution of the operations of the organization in various desired manners. For instance, an enterprise that has clear policies on how its human resources should behave in the work place has more clients. It is also noteworthy that policies determine the profitability of any organization. An organization, which has poor management, misses suitable policies that aid the realization of goals (Littlejohn & Foss, 2008). Scope of the Envisioned Research The research that is yet to mature will evidently focus on recognition of business problems elate poor management. After the identification of relevant problems, the research will undertake complete studies on possible manners of eliminating the business problem. Most of the studies shall focus on real business entities in order to provide workable solutions (Stare, 2011). There will be use of both primary and secondary data, which will include Internet sources Observation Definition of Key Terms Management The concept of management refers to the team of human resources, which has the function of leading the business association. Departments that focus on management facilitate the realization of success in most organizations. Evidently, management is a wide term, which also includes other aspects apart from the human resources. Communication Communication includes the ability of all human resources in an organization to share necessary information that will enable the organization achieve its goals. It is a significant concept because of its ability to transform any organization. In addition, communication has to be frequent and complete if it has to play its required role. Organizational Culture The behavior of personnel determines the organizational culture. Consequently, the culture of an enterprise includes such aspects as the manners in which the human resources react to all business operations. Leadership There are diverse categories of leadership that are evident in the running of most organizations. This concept of leadership refers to the ability on an individual to provide suitable guidance in an organization. It does not have to be one person who offers the relevant leadership according to the structure of the organization. Decision Making This is a process, which all organizations must undertake in order to sustain their business operations. Usually, the process takes much of an organization’s time because there is involvement of many people. Since there are many people and they must make sensible decisions, the organization allows the process to take the necessary time. Decision Making is important because it facilitates the growth of organizations, which make sensible decisions. Organizational Structure Organizational structure is the manner in which the human resources of an organization answer to each other. Normally, the presentation of this concept is in form of an organizational chart. These Organizational Charts clarify the structure of most organizations. In addition, an organization structure includes the role of all the human resources of that organization. Assumptions Made The organization under study has unsuitable policies, which affects its operations The human resources of the organization, which is under research experiences poor leadership There is poor communication in the organization of study There is assumption that the participants in the study will be from the same organization Description of the Overall Rationale of the Research The statement of this problem and consequent sub-problems reveal the reason for the study in a detailed manner. This project seeks to identify the major issues in businesses, which are problematic. Evidently, the business field has many issues that constantly affect the efficiency in its operations, hence the advantages of this project. In particular, the advantages are relevant to organizations and individuals who concentrate on business issues. The answers, which the project hopes to achieve, will enable the business field to make necessary changes that are beneficial. For example, there will be reduction in instances of poor leadership.
