Lastly, we can state that the instrument is smooth, and it operates with no vibration hence very ideal for use in all the environment and conditions needed by the operators. 4.0 Problems with VMA Vertical The viscosity modifying admixtures are used to stabilize the rheology of the SCC. They increase viscosity and helps in thickening the mixture to help in preventing the segregation. The viscosity buildup comes from the association and entanglement of polymer chains of the VMA at a minimum shear rate which further prevents flow and increase of viscosity. Furthermore, additional of VMA normally causes the shear thinning behavior, decline viscosity, when there is an increase in the shear rate (Götz, and Lena p45). Lastly, the impeller shaft weight is given as 32.7 lb/ft (48.7 Kg/m) (Lin, Song, et al. p67). 6.0 Operational feasibility is the problem worth solving From the proposed problem of VMA of difficulties in obtaining adequate voids in the mineral aggregate, there is need to solve this problem. The problem mixes typically will have low VMA and will be non-responsive to changes in gradation. Therefore, it goes without saying that when the improvement has been made, then it is worth solving. The MA-RG are explosion proof motors and starters which are optional in nature. They help in providing optimal mixing which is efficient in reducing the helical gearbox (Lin, Song, et al. p67). The MA-RG machines operate at a 95% efficiency level hence it is worth investing in. 7.0 Proposed technology The technology proposed to ensure efficient function is the MA-RG agitator who uses a lower profile version of the MR-RG. This will be possible of a base plate is used instead of the mounting skid to help in reducing the overall height. The proposed technology is worth using since it helps in increasing the reliability with lower maintenance frequency while maximizing the triple reduction (Van Valkenburg, Paul, et al., p 53). Normally it will help in reducing the helical bevel gearbox which is driven by a motor which is explosive proof. 8.0 Installation procedure Drill a hole: - The drilled hole must be within the acceptable dimension.
