Introduction: A pinplate is consisting of a bearing plate in such an arrangement with a projection into masonry. The product is used for a number of engineering and structural bodies which are used for a variety of functions starting from the doors of the vehicles and other infrastructures to the x-rays plates for performing their specific functions as fit to their designs and functions. The manufacturing of the pinplates are requiring a set of allied engineering assignments which are interconnected and interdependent for their effective and desired output as in the shape of pinplates. These engineering activities are starting with the designing of the product on paper with its specific dimensions including length and width and the existence of holes specific locations of the plates(1). The designing process leads to the manufacturing of the product through the processes like machining, cutting, welding and finishing for making the product in its final shape. The execution of the whole process involves the usage of resources in the form of machinery, engineering tools, raw materials, finances and trained human capital as the relevant technical personnel for the execution of the manufacturing process for the production of the required product as for example the pinplates. The manufactured pinplates are shifted to the market for their sales and delivery to the sight of their usage. The relevant background knowledge is essential for the understanding of the whole manufacturing process including the economy of the scale for the manufacturing of the pinplates units with the use of optimum resources both human and capital for the delivery of a quality product so as to secure maximum economic benefits through the sale of the product as in favor of the relevant manufacturing unit for their economic viability and sustainability. The manufacturing of these products are regulated under the international quality standards and in accordance with the ISO 14000 codes for ensuring their quality and acceptability in the market (2). A pinplate is having a combination of two basic parts as a pin and a plate. The manufacturing of the complete units are completed through the stages of the synthesis of the substrates and the reservoirs with respect to the sizes of both the components as to fit into each other. The system is having the sub stages of fixture as a flexible print head with elongated members with flexibility for making connections in perfect manner. These stages require specific designs as to determine the size of the substrates and the reservoirs with respect to each other and for the overall structure of the pinplate. 2. Coordinate systems choices: The pin plate has alignment ball along with the receptacles on its surface and the attached reservoir with a size of 38 points in such a way that the balls as are attached with the reservoir are having a unit structure of 40 points on the surface which attaches with the facing of the pinplate. The pinplates with these specifications are having the configuration of 32 points units and is positioned with respect to the reservoir of 34 along with a ball size of 40 points. These configurations are of paramount importance and are designed with the measurement of their sizes and angles and these technical specifications are completed with the help of machine tools and instruments which are utilized for measuring, cutting and welding for the manufacturing of a complete unit of the pinplates for their final utilization. The whole process is finished with the assistance of advanced form of the numerical machine system which has a complement of digital and analog computers. These computers are also labeled as the modern computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools. These are helpful in the designing and machining processes which are extremely important for the manufacturing of the pinplates with all their specifications which are essential for the working of the products in their final shapes. The completion process for the manufacturing of the pinplates is completed as per international standards and the quality requirements of the product(3). The pinplates are designed in the form of the devices which include a pin or pinplate in such an arrangement that is connected in a rotary mode and is connected to a cover plate, preferably with the use of a ball and socket joint. The pinplate, which is connected to the cover plate, is in a position that can be inserted into the gap and the cover plate with the adjacent surfaces, thereby covering the whole gap structure. 3. The resources, such as machine, tool, fixture, and etc for the machining process/operation The Numerical control were initially manufactured in the 1940s and 50s, based on the existing tools that were modified and upgraded with help of the motors. These early machines were the servomechanisms and subsequently were modified into the modern computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools that have changed the whole design process in the manufacturing sector. The modern CNC systems are completely automated and are using the Computer aided designs (CAD) and Computer aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs for their workings. The pinplates are produced with the application of engineering tools and equipment along with the utilization of human and technical resources. The whole process is completed as to make the product with the economy of scale as per ISO certified standards. Pinplates are manufactured with the utilization of raw materials as in the shape of metals like Aluminum and other similar materials and are processed by the technical personals in a coordinated and disciplined fashion as to produce the product in systematic mechanism. Turning operations and the milling operations are completed with the cutting tools for a refined product. Lathes are the principal machine tool used in turning process. In the milling process a rotating tool with multiple cutting edges works for further processing in the manufacturing process. There are two basic forms of milling process as: a. Peripheral milling b. Face milling Drilling operations are used for the production of holes with the help of rotating cutters for the manufacturing of pinplates. Drilling operations are completed primarily in the drill presses. Three fundamental and important stages in the manufacturing process are used which are as under: a. designing of the moulds, b. mould manufacturing, and c. Component manufacturing with the assistance of the tools and moulds. In modern CNC systems, the end-to-end component designs are highly automated with the use of computer aided designs (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) process with the use of the required data and instruments. CNC machines tools are needed for the quality output as to determine the size of the final product in the shape of the pinplates which are essentially used in number products for their proper functioning and designs as per its specifications and designs . 5. The manufacturing parameters: The pinplates are designed and manufactured with the help of modern machines and with the combination of multiple tools as to produce the desired products into a single unit with the help of the requisite specifications. The machines are handled on the basis of CNC arrangement as guided by the CAD/CAM designs and programs. The inner surfaces are spherical in their appearance and these surfaces are obtained with the application of CAD / CAM and CNC techniques for the finalization of the pinplates which are used in a variety of the products. 6. NC program of CNC machining of the component The Numerical control (NC) program is the automation of machine tools which are used with the help of specific commands and instructions for the production of the desired products. These are abstractly encoded on a storage medium for their further usage in the manufacturing process and are supplemented with the use of analog and digital computers for the creation of CNC machine tools which have changed the whole designing process for the manufacturing of the pinplates with the use of CAD/ CAM programming. The Machining program involves three segments as the understanding of the basic Machining Operations, advanced machining stage and its utilization for the delivery of the task in perfect manner and finally the use of basic welding operations for the completion of the pinplates in a satisfactory manner. The executing of the machining program is completed with the help of a program check. The manufacturing process is completed with the involvement and observance of special needs for the designing, manufacturing, and utilisation for the product.
