I also created two very successful projects - one for the NHS and another in a private capacity. I have conducted interviews on live satellite international TV programmes, received an invitation from BBC Persian TV; I also write articles in important International Iranian newspapers like Kayhan. I have achieved all this and more even when I had to go through three spinal operations in the past 4 years and have recently been diagnosed with the vassal blockage in the left side of my brain that cannot be operated upon due to complications.

With the professional experience now, I was ready to face the interview once again. This time, I had a very warm and welcome reception during my interview - a completely different experience from the one before. I felt encouraged and ready to take up new challenges.I write this essay on “review of personal and professional learning” with the aim to explore my innate determination to pursue my studies and to assess my inner strengths and weaknesses that may facilitate or hinder my objectives.

I also want to elaborate upon my academic achievements and personal development and showcase myself as a person who has learned from life experiences. This exercise in writing gave me a chance to introspect and reflect upon my life and how my life events have shaped my learning and given me the opportunity to progress both academically and as a person. I find great motivation and excitement in writing as I have found magnificent links that reflect on my own life and I have also found many qualities and aspects of my life and have further gained insights and learning from it all.

By reviewing my life I felt stronger and also amazed to discover how pleasant and unpleasant life experience can make a person stronger and ready to take on life’s challenges in new ways.
