One must ensure that all students, may not only graduate, however they can graduate with a quality education that will permit them to excel in college and beyond.
Those that are occupying top leadership position in the governance of the education system, including the superintendents, are expected to take a lenient attitude regarding schools, and in the situation of directors only assess the school in their district instead of assisting them to excel ( Scott,2010). Merely as kids are viewed mainly as test scores, evaluating of principals superintendents and soon, the performing of the teachers themselves, is expected to be on the basis of hard “data” alone– read test scores, attendance, grade rates, etc.
Transparency as a framework is reflected in many ways; as compared to the Progress Report, the School Quality Snapshot evaluates the performance of the school putting side to side with other schools in the city, surviving the same grade levels without considering the population of the student (Riggio, Chaleff & Lipman-Blumen,2008).
