A degree from one of the most prestigious, elitist and recognized university is an opportunity to enhance my knowledge and to develop professional skills that will enable me to achieve my personal goals while contributing to the good of humanity. I have always been thinking about my future. As a result, I have put a lot of thought into discovering the kind of career that I want to pursue, becoming a successful person in life and finding my own path. The skills and knowledge that I will gain at this university will help me to have the personal and professional life that I want. The first acquaintance with your university was as a result of inquiries that I made to my mentors about the best institution to prepare myself for my chosen career. They highly recommended this institution as a value based organization that is committed to the development of highly qualified professionals who will not only deliver on their mandates effectively but will also contribute towards the achievement of national goals. As a nature enthusiast, I love the park-like setting of this university and would love an opportunity to call such a beautiful setting my home during my most formative years. Also, the sporting environment around the university is attractive to me because I like running. In addition, the city of Geneva is a melting pot of cultures that will provide an opportunity to appreciate the culture of other countries. I also have an interest in international affairs which staying in Geneva will enable me to explore. For example, the location of the United Nations and the financial center that is the city will give me an opportunity to interact with both organizations and individuals that shape global affairs. The institution has a qualified and dedicated staff that facilitates the learning process by making sure that they have all the resources that they need to learn (Webster University 1). In addition, the institution has created a culture of collaboration among both the student and teaching community. Furthermore, the institution is committed to global academic standards. This is important for me since I want to intern at an international organization. Learning at the Webster University is not just an opportunity to gain a world class education; it is also an opportunity to build a network with individuals from all over the world. In addition, the university has a personalized approach to teaching that enables each student to interact with the professors. Moreover, it has small class sizes. Furthermore, due to its network, joining the University will give me an opportunity to study in any of its affiliate campuses. This is important for me as I hope to travel outside the country before I finish my University education. In addition, I would like to work in the United States of America. This University will give me an opportunity to earn an accredited American degree. Moreover, I love the research based approach to learning in the University. I also have a great interest in the departmental conferences that the University organizes. I hope that being a student in this University will enable me to play a significant role in their organization. I have a deep appreciation for the model of sharing ideas with the public for free. This gives every interested individual the opportunity to learn from leaders. My appreciation stems from the fact that I am learning a lot from TED talks, a series of video presentations by thought leaders that are shared with the public online for free. It is my belief that each individual should adopt a proactive approach to the challenges facing their local communities and the world. In pursuit of this ideal, I volunteered in homes for the elderly. This experience helped me to gain from the wisdom of the men and women that I interacted with. In addition, they helped me to understand the importance of embracing a body of work that adds value to the world and not one that merely grows my net worth and fame. I am able to lead when given the opportunity. Moreover, I am willing to serve others. In high school, I was a club leader. I was responsible for managing the relationship between the club and the administration as well as with other clubs. During my tenure, I organized a campaign in which we raised food and clothing for a local orphanage. These experiences show that I understand the importance of caring for the less fortunate in society. It also shows that I have the ability to rally people behind a single objective. An education at your institution will enable me to lead and serve the global community. Furthermore, I have a deep appreciation for Entrepreneurship and the role that it can play in solving societal challenges such as poverty, climate change and increasing inequality. As a young kid, I set up a lemonade stand to raise money to buy my grandmother a gift. That experience taught me the value of hard work and the importance of communicating with people. Moreover, I discovered the importance of learning how to sell. I believe that everyone, regardless of the station of their life or the work they do should learn the art of selling. This is because we are all involved in a process of selling one thing or another each single day. We could be selling ideas, goods or our skills. Consequently, after dropping out of the International University of Geneva, I enrolled in a private communication and sales course. In January I enrolled at the International University in Geneva, but opted to withdraw my classes. This was informed by my belief that the most defining moment in an individual’s academic career is their University life. Consequently, this period should be spent doing what someone loves and believes adds value to their professional and personal objectives. The classes at the University were structured in a way that did not challenge me enough. Moreover, they failed to give me sufficient opportunity to explore my interests. Studying at the Webster University will give me access to an experienced faculty and a brilliant student community with whom I can test my ideas and the ideas of other great individuals. In addition, it will give me the opportunity of utilizing an incredible amount of education resources. Interacting with the international students at the University will enable me to learn the perspectives of other people, which will help me to have a global understanding of issues. In addition, it will enable me to learn about other cultures. In conclusion, I would like to state that I am eager to join Webster University because it will enable me to gain new experiences, learn new skills and improve my understanding of the world. This will enable me to not only compete in the international job market, but also add value to the whole of humanity.
