There is a clear expression of the trend and progress a city follows until it becomes fully urbanized. The author gives an illustration of towns such as Florida, Jacobs, and Putnam. He gives a clear explanation of the factors that the surging population considers settling in certain urban centers. Aspects of parking and accessibility to town are the main factors. Other considerations of weather, aesthetics, location also come hand in hand. Many people want to settle in a place devoid of pollution.

Trees are known to be the best air disinfectants, and that is a core consideration for settlement (Legates, pg. 515). The author is very clear is an explanation of why there is rapid rural, urban migration. The survival tips in an urban setting are on the provision especially for those who are the kings there. All are aimed at ensuring that the health of the individual is not compromised. With a response to that, there is an introduction of pollution combating activities such as tree planting.

In summation, the author expresses the concern over the ever-increasing population in the urban area, illustrating it with a close s growth tool and the measures put into effect to counter any health risks.
