The Necessity for Scholarship Assistance - Personal Statement Example

It’s been long that I have been in search of a suitable opportunity to augment my educational achievements. I came across Yonsei International Summer School programs incidentally but was captivated immediately by the exhaustive nature of the courses offered. I felt that there is no other way productive enough to spend the six weeks of summer, 2014. I am mainly interested in Management and Economics courses, as these courses would complement my Bachelors in Engineering Sciences degree. So far, I have been working in the capacity of technical staff, but now aspire to move up the management hierarchy.

I believe these courses would help me attain my ultimate career goal. All good packages come with costs, so is the case of YISS. I belong to a middle-class family with an income that just suffices living costs and does not contribute to savings. A referral to the financial statement will support my stance. I will be able to bear my expenses to some extent, but I will also require financial assistance. This is the reason why I have applied for a need based scholarship programme.
