This is because I will greet the students as they come to class. I will also be on time. This will give the student an impression of orderliness. In addition, I will require the class chairs be arranged in an informal way, for example, in circles. This will indicate an atmosphere that is informal (Goodman, 2001). The impression will be that the students will be required to participate frequently and actively.
I represent a dominant group in the community. This will impact on my relationship with the student. The group I represent emphasizes and sets expectations that are high to each and every member. This will be translated to the students I teach. This will in turn affect the relationship between the students and I (Goodman, 2001). The self esteem and academic performance of the student will be highly enhanced. This is when I set high expectations for the whole class and hold the students to the set expectations.
The expectations will be high but realistic. This means that the expectations will motivate the student to work hard and promote cooperation between the student and I. The student will also believe that he will succeed due to the high expectations associated with my group. This will also make the student relate to me in whatever he does. Moreover, I will communicate my attitudes and expectation to the student through speech and action. The student’s perceptions of my attitudes and expectations will affect his self concept and motivation (Goodman, 2001).

...?Introduction The ability to move through change management is one which is considered an essential part of every business. This allows the business to grow and stops gaps from occurring between employees and management. I have also realized that the most important part of the change is communicating the right messages on several levels and interchanging this with actions that will benefit the company. By analyzing my own work environment, I have realized that the gaps...

...?24 Hour Diary Entry February 14, 2050 Its been 10 years since my beloved Harry died. I can't help but feel the tremendous loss he is in my life everyday. More so each time Valentine's day rolls around. I know, I know, he continues to live on in the holographic images that carry recordings of his memories, even though I can talk to his image whenever I want to, it does not remove the longing that I have for the physical being of the man. Harry was and is truly my life, and no hologram can take his place. Stephanie will be coming by with Peter in a few hours to spend the rest of Valentine's night with me. I will never understand why they prefer to travel to the house via particle transfer. It has always...

...Diary Entries by Clarisse and Montag Diary entry Clarisse I met Montag while walking on the sidewalk in the driving rain. I was catching the raindrops on her face by tilting it upwards as Montag left his apartment. As I walked on towards Montag, I think I upset him as I carry out the trick with the dandelion. I rubbed the final dandelion with spots that were under my chin, and this was the last spring spotted dandelion. My chin turns color underneath to the color yellow, which signifies that I must be in love. I then make Montag claim that I am nothing, but a regular onion since I do not allow him to know me, and this keeps him peeling away at my many layers. I continue...

...Diary Entry It was only this morning that Bader ended up being at the World Trade Center as well as the financial harbor. Bader began filming at the side where the expatriates were working at. After Bader had enough with the filming of events at the harbor he made his journey towards Costa Coffee to consult with Rana, Rabab and Samar. Bader discussed with them the editing details of the documentary which we needed to carry out as well as the interviews which the group had undertaken for this documentary. ...Today was Saturday and my chance to unwind after a very busy week. I sat by the window watching children play outside while the soft wind swept across the street. Meanwhile, the gardener was at work at our next door-neighbor’s place cleaning away the bushes and dry leaves. As he continued to work, I noticed that there was a nest of crows at the top of one of the higher bushes. The gardener, busy as a bee, did not notice the nest and continued to clean away the bushes until he reached the particular bush and unknowingly clipped it off. As soon as he clipped it off, a flock of crows flew out of the bushes in all directions, screaming at the top of their voices. The children stopped playing and ran for shelter as the noisy... was...

Influencing Factors The subsequent stage of the model is the analysis of influencing factors, including the internal and external factors and knowledge that affected my decision-making (University of Cumbria, 2014b, p.2). I believe, as I mentioned, that the external factors were time constraints, the competitiveness in the atmosphere among some students, and ability of the lecturer to encourage students to speak up. Time is an essential factor that tends to be neglected in analysing communication issues (Bruhn, 2011, p.278). Time pressures can also affect how I express myself and interact with others. Furthermore,...
