REFLECTION ON AWEBQUEST In my experience, the WebQuest provided a unique learning experience for every leaner that went through the process. First, it presented an interactive process that gave the leaners an opportunity to own the learning process. Learning through the web, WebQuest, provided all the required resources needed by the learners to complete and achieve the set goals. The WebQuest also placed all the needed information by the leaners at their fingertips (Perrone, Clark and Repenning 1996).
Through the WebQuest at:
www.zunal.com/webquest.php?w=40568
At the beginning, I perceived the process as an open-ended and a little too obvious when I began. The project got underway and narrowed down the activity list, enabling me to focus on particular aspects of teaching about the children mind games. In the review I expected the feedback on improved or deteriorated sharpness of the mind. In the instructions page, the quest outlined the specific steps to follow in the games. This gave the learners a more specific process to follow and focus on.
Advantages of a WebQuest
The WebQuest provided interesting ways for the leaners to complete the assignments. It presented an easy option to integrate technology in the classroom. In the process the learners get the chance to interact with information-based online resources. The exercise also provided the students an opportunity to create their own projects and engage in their colleagues quests. It provided a major educational and informative experience by engaging me in specific – goal oriented - educational outcomes. In the experience the leaners were able to reason and think at more refined levels, using the provided information to solve the pattern matching puzzles.
In terms of interacting with the WebQuest, the accessibility was an advantage where learners were able to access the WebQuest from their home/library. The universal structure of all Web Quests made it easy for the learners to create. As the instructor, I was able to emphasis on the teaching skills that were required to read the Web Quest. The exercise, WebQuest, provided a structured and effective way to use the provided internet time. Through the insightful and well planned lessons, the learners received meaningful guidance. Last but not least, the exercise gave the opportunity to the learners and accommodated the learners from diverse backgrounds, providing the variety of required needs.
Disadvantages of the WebQuest
The exercise was conducted online; away from the normal learning environment. It was difficult maintain the same practices that the leaners were used to in classroom setting. The universal mode of teaching presented a difficult task to plan for the pedagogy and content when one considered all learning style. In addition, there was difficult to find a webquest that was designed to meet the learners specific needs. Accessing the webquests on slow workstations presented a problem.
Conclusion
The aspect I would change on the conducted WebQuest is the process of instructing and enrolling the leaners. Since it focuses on the children, I would have the children guided by their guardians on the signing up and accessing the link to the webquest. In the future I will use the webquest as a learning tool that gives access to more information and equips the learners with more than the common language.

People today particularly in the United States are enjoying the democratic space where we are free to express ourselves, elect our own leader and have the opportunity to pursue our endeavors are a result of the brave men and women before who sacrificed themselves to make the lives of the succeeding generations better. This impact on our life today is very significant because it determines on how we...

...Reflection paper 2 One of the most interesting points that I took from the video focuses on the tremendous impact that nonverbal communication has on interaction with people. Now I see that it is equally important to look confident and to speak confidently. I have heard about the notion of body language, but I did not have a clear understanding of how eloquent it may be to others. Speaking of my own professional presence, I might note that I never gave it a careful thought. I believe that subconsciously I behave in an assertive way and want to influence my audience in this way. However, I need to work more on the manner in which I interact with each particular person so that I do not use...
