Inclusive Education In the transformed circumstances of the world in the background of education and the theories of universal education, in which the possibilities of the progress in global education is often emphasised, the scope for inclusive education is greater. “The concept of inclusive education involves the practice of including every one, irrespective of talent, gender, disability, socio-economic background, or cultural origin, in culturally and linguistically responsive schools and classrooms where educators work together to meet the needs of all their students.” (Physical therapy continuing education. 2008). There are very many significant areas in Inclusive Education that can be and need to be made the areas of researches and specific analysis. In this paper, one such crucial area of multifaceted study is identified in the area which investigates the relationship between social and educational inclusion, or, to be specific, the inclusion of the disabled and disadvantaged people in the educational process which will also focus on the inclusion of the boys from ethnic communities. The issues of the disabled and disadvantaged people have been recognised and voiced at various levels and the social implications of the exclusion of the children of ethnic communities has been the centre of similar discussions and researches. The inclusion of the disabled children in education process is prime concern of every community irrespective of national boundaries. “According to the World Bank, more than one third of children out of school have a disability, and fewer than 5% of children with a disability reach the Education for All (EFA) goal of primary school completion… the only way to achieve quality education for persons with a disability is to inextricably link processes to include them into broader processes of educational reform.” (Richler 2003). The issue of the ethnic group also has got a great relevance as a serious topic for research. Therefore, the research relating to Inclusive Education will cover the general area of disabled students with the various issues related to their inclusion in the social programs like special education. Within this general framework, there is ample opportunity to relate include the issues of the children from ethnic community which maximises the scope of the research undertaken. However, the possible failure of this broad area will need to be particularly maintained in equilibrium to keep the research socially relevant and universally significant. In the identification of the area of research, the most relevant consideration has been the issues of the inclusive education for children with disabilities and this research area has a universal appeal. When the issues as reflected in the cases of disabled children from the ethnic groups in inclusive education, for specific treatment, the research paper ultimately attains social relevance. The research in the field of Inclusive Education needs to gain universal recognition as the most pertinent issues such as the issues of the children with disabilities. It is noteworthy that these issues are many often vaguely addressed in analyses and studies. As the statement of the World Bank on disability and education points out, these are matters which determine the universal nature of education. “An estimated 40 million of the 115 million children out of school have disabilities. If they are not included into schools the goal on universal primary education cannot be obtained.” (Inclusive education for children with disabilities). The issues of the ethnic boys’ inclusion in universal education process has a scope just as the issues of the disabled children have, and this can be best utilised for the inclusion of these specific issues of the ethnic group in the general framework of the research undertaken. This scope is clear from the following observation of the World Bank on the Uruguayan Experience. (As “inclusive education” tends to contribute to quality education for all, the benefits… are not limited to those children with a disability or special academic needs but encompass the entire school population by modernizing teaching and learning strategies and promoting the development of social, cognitive and emotional skills so as to achieve better performances from all both at school and outside.” (The world bank. 2004). As the area of the research as well as its relevance and nature is established, it is important that the people and agencies to be consulted regarding the accomplishment of the research are identified. To be clarifying, the most effective people to consult on the topic of research will be those who are engaged in inclusive education and those who have studied and researched on this meticulous research area. There are a plenty to choose from, primarily because, there are a whole lot of social programs related to the vast area of Inclusive Education and there have been a quantity of research projects in every area of the Inclusive Education. However, a judicious selection of the people who specifically engage in Inclusive Education as it relates to the disabled children, and even more specifically, in the Inclusive Education programmes for the disabled children of the ethnic community, along with the people who have comprehensively researched and guided such studies, will contribute greatly to the research purpose. Similarly, the inclusion of agencies which have made tremendous contribution to the Inclusive Education will be added advantage for the research under discussion. One of the most useful sources to find the Bibliographies and contacts for a research on the Inclusive Education Programmes for the disadvantaged and disabled children of the specific ethnic communities such as the Asian ethnic groups and the African groups will be the article “Black and Ethnic Minority Young People and Educational Disadvantage” by The Runnymede Trust which maintains that “Much of the research has traditionally focused on describing and analysing the disadvantage. Only recently has attention started to be given to methods of good practice and innovation in counteracting the systemic discrimination.” (Amin et al). Many of the sources for literary purposes as well as contacts for contact list which are most relevant to this specific research project are listed in and appended to the article. The collection of data and information will be primarily based on the nature of the method adopted. In certain cases, direct collection or the field study method will be used to avail the information so as to give most relevant and proper data regarding the focal point or the issue of the research which, in turn, will strengthen the validity and reliability of the research paper. In some other cases, only a sample analysis will be carried out and those will be data and information regarding the general issues or points of the research. Yet another method to be adopted is the retrieval of information from recognised sources and agencies and the literature review will form an important part of this area. The reports and publications of international and national agencies, including the World Bank, UNESCO, and others, will be made available for the proper conclusion and analysis of the research matter. Therefore, the plan for the collection of data and information is an extensive one so that no useful source of information for commendable research piece is missed out. Finally but importantly, the timescale for the research project will be one of the most central factors of consideration as the relevance of the research area gets changed even over a period of short time span. Also, the information availed will be most suitable when the research is carried out in a short term. It is mainly because there is no permanence for any of the research area in Inclusive Education. Therefore, the timescale will be made as short as possible, though the possibility of delay in cases such as the collection of data is recognised. It is also notable that in a plan for this kind of timescale, most of the time will be dedicated to data collection and processing. Arriving at a conclusion as well as the writing down of the research paper will not consume great amount of time if the other processes are given the exact time span.
