Since the knowledge of the language is not only restricted to knowing how to speak and write, it is very much required that all parts of language are covered in the early education which will also help cultivate interest in the child for the language. Therefore, early education was horizontally well aligned. Another subject of major importance was Maths. Maths is a subject of vital importance as it marks the beginning of a calculated approach.

It involves a child's brain to the maximum and the basic art of calculation is required in every sphere of life. Even for people who do not work, calculations and simple mathematics play a major part in dealing with day-to-day activities. The early education is given to us about Maths comprised of counting. Counting forms the basis of every kind of calculation. Early education also focuses on minor additions and subtractions. These small calculations not only make a child sharp but also give an intuition that helps develop a brain more calculative and comprehensive.

A more calculative brain can judge and interpret things much easier than others. If we talk about alignment, we cannot compare vertical alignment as we are only concerned with early education. We also see that the education system was far too aligned horizontally. The best time to inculcate skills in the human brain is when it's tender and eager to learn. That is why educating the young brains with early mathematics helps to attain sharp intellect. The curriculum followed in the early education of children is certainly at par with any other age group.

With a solid foundation as such, can a strong build of knowledge be constructed? Therefore, to sum it up all, it can be said that the early education subjects language arts and maths are very well in accordance with the standard alignments and are in turn helping children grow more and more intellectually and even helps them constantly.
