It is their responsibility to develop individuals to the highest potential. It is their mandate to ensure that they give their best and fulfill what is expected of them to realize the success of the school and that everything is running smoothly. I acknowledge that the teachers’ role in this curriculum is to teach according to the curriculum and closely monitor students’ progress, though the academic curriculum trains minds and teach students how to research. I know that its emphasis on this is to develop critical thinking based on rationalization, subject matter the forms and structure of knowledge, what matters is to emphasize on integrated study rather than isolate them. The mode of teaching in this curriculum should be direct rather than group involvement. I agree that competence of teachers is essential to ensure the progress and gradual growth of students. It is through teachers that students get to develop and grow academically. Children when with their teachers need to feel safe and treated well. I agree that school children should not be abused but instead, they should be treated fairly. From my own experience I think that children should be protected and respected. I find that a productive environment for learning and positive student control should have clear, firm, and high teacher and administration expectation as it will ensure a friendly environment for learning. I find that having consistent rules and consequences to directly breaking the rules will provide a good environment for learning as it will ensure that the school has control over the students, which implies guiding the student towards positive growth in academic and social life. It is essential to regard the background of community and evaluate the data associated with the staffs in order to allocate the rights and responsibilities accordingly. I tend to think that the staff closely determines the performance of the students as they affect the lives of the students either directly or indirectly. I feel that it will be of value to take the perceptions of the students and their parents into consideration while amending the school processes. Vision and mission statements generally display the goals of the school and also motivate the parents to join their children in the school for quality training. I know that it serves as guidance to the people involved in the growth of school. It is essential to implement frameworks that would build the school in terms of brand reputation, trust, commitment, dedicated resources and personalization. The vision and mission statements should further remain as belief statements thereby gaining the interests of the public. I agree that teacher empowerment is of great value to schools. Institutional view places the teacher in a sub serving role and reinforces compliance and followership. I find the value of the teacher is secondary to the administrator. It is here that the teacher realizes the mandate bestowed upon them. I believe that the teacher become the best they can be through empowerment as this view creates joy in teaching. In determining the level of need of teacher we consider teachers age, years of teaching experience and readiness or maturity level. This aims ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...?Running head: Reflection Paper Reflection Paper Introduction There emerged mixed reactions from the United s citizens when the Supreme Court judges voted with majority in the case of Kelo v. City of New London. Regardless of their reaction, everyone knew it was the inception of the eminent domain laws, which the lawmakers had avoided for a long time. The evasion was due to the sensitivity of the matter, hence no one wanted to carry the blame incase of any hitch. While some people thought that the law was developed to violate their rights, others were happy that justice had finally been done. The perceptions of people on the implementation of the law trigged these...

...Personal Reflection on Social Psychology Social psychology is such an interesting because we begin to understandhow people perceive things that happen according to their own pre-conceived expectations. This subject helps people unravel the complexities of how people behave so they can be understood. I particularly liked the discussion about controlling because there are many people who blame circumstances (external locust) rather than do something about a situation. The topic about different types of attribution theory such as Classic attribution theory and Dr.Ginn’s attribution theory explains how intimate relationships can be very complicated since of the partners usually experience the active-observer effect. One of...

...?Running Head: Reflection Paper Rome: The of Soul Rome is an outlandish game among its people and the embodiment of humanity, an existing irony of universality in peculiarity. That sentiment which emerges normally at Rome is an unclear sense of heavy tributes; a feeling of such burden and immensity in a long-gone life, of which Rome was the heart, that the current period is depressed or pressured, and our personal relationships and motives are but incomplete as true, here, as somewhere else. And still, unusually, perceived through this way, our story may appear not broadly distinct from the grain of our lives. Rome is gifted with an exceptional power to embed on the people their inferiority to the universal truth, mortality. Rome... Head:...

...historical forces which bring about enormous changes in the society. However, we do not usually define the troubles we endure in terms of historical forces and institutional contradiction. Our major characteristic as humans is that we think of our world in personal and moral terms. When we have problems, we usually see them in personal and emotional terms. Our view is limited to our immediate situation and we often put up defense mechanisms to protect our views, and most of us are convinced that our views and feelings are right, and the others’ are wrong. This self-protective attitudes and defenses are major hindrances to understanding social problems because we fail to see the broader context in which our problems arise. In this...

...Reflection paper of New Media Project of final project: New media projects usually involve interactive user feedback and creative participation. I have selected the theme of appropriation for my new media final project. Appropriation is an old art technique. The uses of paper cuttings of images from different sources and paste them in a different way to illustrate any specific theme or concept. Actually the artist wants to use other sources to portray his or her visualization of the project. This does not mean that the artist is copying some one’s work rather they just use other’s work to aid their own project. In my final media project, I have selected human sensory organs as the tools...

...Fahrenheit 451 Ray Bradbury has created a fictional world in his book Fahrenheit 451 that pretty much reflects life in the 21st century. No one values books and the pervasiveness of technology has lead to a decline in reading habits. Restrictions on free expression of ideas allows for books-banning thereby culminating in a literary monotony until people lose their interest in reading. The artificial and fictitious world constructed by Bradbury very much reflects the society today where video games and television appeal to the masses more than literary works thus making life generally void and meaningless. The role of books has been downplayed to an extent where books are slowly fading off the scene....

...A Reflection of My previous English A reflection of my previous English Going through an English has been one of my best experiences in academic studies. In contrast to the usual perception, I happen to realize that written English is not an easy task compared to an ordinary spoken language. Because the reader can easily point out the mistakes while going through your sentences, thanks to my instructor who made me master the best concepts in English. Burke, a former member of parliament in Great Britain, criticized the French revolution for its possibilities to cause harm than good to the society. He maintains that there would be a disastrous end of the revolution for failure to recognize humanity and appeal for human rights.
