Breath mat is a product that allows yogis to focus on their practice without having to suffer the distractions of sticky mat and towel. Because the Breath mat for Bikram yoga offers the solution to sticky mats and towels that can’t adequately absorb sweat and pool liquid on the floor besides bunching-up during postures and being uncomfortable to lie on; the goal is to offer in the market in the best way possible to the practitioners of Bikram yoga, the form and function of this product, by adequately bringing out the ultimate solution that it offers over what other towels and mats don’t. In addition the mat’s higher qualities and better performing attributes are concisely integrated with the various features and content of the website. As Bikram yoga is mostly female-though there are also male practitioners, the audiences chosen include studio owners, students both female and male, female practitioners including males and others that may be interested.The themes chosen include bright and relaxing colour schemes such as cream, light blue, blue and environmentally friendly colour such as green.[Appendix 4] The focus is to elegantly highlight the products unique advantages such as its superior grip, water-proof bottom layer that prevents sweat from getting through, machine washable ability and the fact that studio owners cut on carpet cost besides having their studio environment staying fresher. What Will You Create, Curate ( Re-Purposing And Making Use Of Existing Content In The Online Community) And Stimulate(Activate User Generated Content)? I would create an instagram link on the Breath mat’s homepage. This is important as the homepage should offer a successful social media channel that links everything together by helping users navigate through platforms. It will also increase the web-site’s visibility. Moreover, to build a robust market for the mats while at the same time disseminating knowledge about yogi culture, a significant number of posts, tweets, etc are needed through creation of social media pages with likes and shares to stimulate a large number of followers thus promoting sales. An active social media opens doors for potential customers. Create posts that are product focused with a captions and photos more attractive to customers. Because videos and pictures are appealing to consumers, make youtube videos shred on many platforms.[Appendix 5] Which Platform and Tools Will You Use Or Not Use? Bikram yoga as a platform and the use of hashtags for association. Blog posts with photos and captions. Create an own blog regularly updated with segments for consumers to comment and share. Why do they occur at a particular time in the year/month/week? By Breath sharing actively sharing yoga’s latest news, trends and related products on all its social media sites, fans are kept informed of everything new which stimulates competition in the industry. A better competitive strategy leads to increased traffic as well as increased sales. Provide three different types of content that you have deployed for your client. 1) Figure a 2) Figure b 3) Figure c In figure (a), the content shows clearly the logo and brand name as the mark of guarantee of quality. The unique design and quality is clearly visible together with the strength of the colour scheme. It sets out a running plan of action in order to achieve the business plan. It stimulates traffic flow that eventually promotes sales. It leads to the improvement of the lay-out design of the web therefore improving general sale ability of product. My recommendations to the client are to be more active on social media sites in order to reach out to potential customers. In addition to create strong media sites such as in instagram and tweeter and encourage a robust platform of followers on their account. To stay ahead of the competition, they should focus in enhancing their presence on sites as facebook to improve their position through regular updates and customer engagement.
