These essays were based on specific topics like traffic congestion; cloud hacking, obesity and unemployment. The main objective of this study is to outline innovation concept. Innovation can be defined as a new process, device or idea. This kind of idea is at times utilized to resolve any social issue. In context of business organizations, innovation refers to implementing new approaches or ideas. This in turn helps an organization to improve upon existing services or develop a range of dynamic product line. The four essays which have been taken into consideration are ranked based on two parameters – feasibility and innovative ideas. Unemployment is given the highest rank since it encompasses wide set of innovative ideas. In comparison to other essays this subject could reveal three important solutions for employees, students and social restriction. Unemployment is an area of concern across the globe. There are initiatives undertaken to eradicate this issue from its root cause. In this study, various aspects of this essay will be highlighted which has made it an innovative one. It has been stated as an implementation report that is structured on basis of essay 1. A. Evaluation of the ideas The first essay is based on unemployment, which is a social issue affecting many regions. This essay states that unemployment rate is considerably high in United States. There are lot of factors associated with unemployment like poverty, financial hardship, breakdown, isolation, low self-esteem, etc. This essay comprises of a fishbone diagram that clearly outlines different causes leading to unemployment. It has stated that unemployment results due to increased need for high wages. The concept of economic growth is closely linked with unemployment. Profit needs to be maximized in order to provide required wages to people. Three innovative solutions have been highlighted in this study with respect to employees, students and for social restriction. Student should mainly focus on unpopular subjects and go for skills training and development programs. The most innovative solution for employees is increasing minimum wages, imparting skills training, etc. On the other hand, public facility improvement is considered as social restriction’s solution. It is clearly evident in this study that unemployment rate for lower educational levels was high in comparison to those who possess bachelor’s degree. Essay 2 focuses on another social issue known as traffic congestion. Private vehicles growth has led to various problems in the society. These problems can be classified as traffic congestion, air pollution and oil price increase. Traffic congestion occurring in different regions has been discussed like London, Europe, Paris and Beijing. There are three solutions stated in this essay which can help to reduce traffic congestion. These solutions are developing air road, focusing on land vehicle and personal air, and altering current traffic rules. Innovative solutions shall support to eliminate traffic congestion but it encompasses high costs. The third essay emphasizes on obesity issue witnessed in United States. Obesity causes accumulation of huge amount of fat that result into series of health problems. Pacific Islands and Hawaii are the most affected regions due to obesity in United States. Obesity as a societal issue is mainly observed within children and it tends to grow with age. Two innovative solutions have been proposed for this issue such as spreading health related information across the globe with the support of social media and being aligned with governmental law of daily exercise. These solutions have a positive impact in terms of minimizing overall costs linked with disease centres. On the contrary, they seem to be too oppressive and are not correlated with human rights. Cloud hacking has been incorporated as the subject area in the next study. Cloud computing is an important aspect since it facilitates access to centralized large volumes of data. Cloud hacking is a societal problem since it greatly affects company’s image as sensitive information is shared at times through cloud computing. Hackers mainly target financial information and this in turn results into transfer of organizational financial resources to personal accounts. Resource constrained business environment makes small organizations more vulnerable to such risks associated with cloud hacking. Organizations can protect their image and customer’s interests through integrating capacity management and performance technologies. In this study some innovative solutions have been outlined which can prevent cloud hacking like accessing security measures for devices, well monitoring data being accessed, and re-checking access control. However these techniques were not feasible since hackers are smart enough to access data without being identified. Systems get updated at a faster rate and so there is always a risk with cloud computing concept. All these solutions constitute high cost factor and cannot be adopted by all organizations. Essay 1 has been chosen for its innovative solutions and their feasibility. This is simply because there is a logical flow in this essay structure while designing solutions for the problem been identified. The reasons for high unemployment rate have been determined with the help of a fishbone diagram. Social restrictions and low quality of training or education is regarded as the major factors which lead to unemployment (Stone and McCraw, 2007). The solutions designed are all in coherent fashion and with significant examples. There are even decent responses acquired in context of technological, political and social aspect. Proper evidence has been included in this essay along with strong reasoning towards causes and remedies for unemployment (Walters, 2000). It is an innovative solution because government has not yet adopted such measures in order to reduce the rate of unemployment. B. A Social Value analysis / Justification of Community Value Social value The unemployment issue can be mitigated to a great extent through fish bone diagram. In the private sector, educational quality tends to affect employment rate. There are rising trends of unemployment rate since individuals do not possess necessary skills to perform tasks in the workplace. Government needs to work in collaboration with all stakeholders in order to ensure high quality of education. Social value holds significance for this type of solution since focus is on improving educational standard. Skill management and technological advancements should be updated in course structure. Students need to be influenced for adopting certain subjects like mathematics, technical subjects, science, etc. The innovative solution for students’ carries social value since it is aligned with imparting required skills, training individuals on advanced technology, and laboratories will be structured by government for skill development of children. These objectives have social value in terms of eradicating illiteracy from the system. All individuals will be given equal job opportunity since they shall possess similar skill set and knowledge. This study highlights innovative solution for wage unemployment issue. Wages can be compensated only through maximizing profit margins (Gangl, 2003). Mass education to workers is also an innovative measure since it would prevent workers from demanding any abnormal wage rate in coming years. Social value behind this solution is that it enables implementation of new policies like reducing job positions for foreign workers and giving more opportunity to local people. Minimum wage increase will motivate workers to become more productive and this shall contribute towards economic growth. Exchange programs are usually not organized for students and this can be treated as another cause of unemployment. Private organizations need to work in collaboration with educational institutions so as to ensure that students can interact effectively with industry experts. Social restrictions can be eliminated through enhancing public facilities as per the study. This solution is associated with social value since it deals with an important societal issue – discrimination (Leon-Guerrero, 2013). It has been observed that discrimination at workplace results into lack of opportunities for deserving candidates. In overall context, if unemployment is not addressed appropriately it eventually leads to decline in economic growth. Unemployment basically indicates economic instability which is not advantageous for long term growth and development. Social value shall be created through educating individuals and by offering equal opportunities at workplace. Social Return on Investment Unemployment is an alarming issue across the globe. However this particular study focuses on unemployment trends in United States. There are wide array of regions which have been adversely affected by this societal issue. Certain innovative solutions have been reflected upon in this study that can efficiently address this issue. Governmental policies are required to resolve issues related to unemployment. These policies will possess significant return on investment. Social return on investment is stated as positive impact created on society. Any new policy being implemented encompasses huge costs. In such scenario return on investment becomes a critical aspect. At times non-monetary return on investment is also equally valued. This form of return will be observed through these innovative solutions. Firstly all these innovations can be effectively applied across different groups. There are three factors which contribute towards unemployment – social restrictions, unskilled employees and rising rate of illiteracy. Hence solutions designed will facilitate elimination of these factors. It can be stated that innovative solution for employees shall help to develop a large base of skilled workforce. Return on investment will be in the form of availability of talented employees. Private or public organizations do not need to rely upon foreign workers for goal accomplishment. Local workers on basis of this solution will possess sufficient knowledge and skills to enhance organizational competitive advantage. There shall be another return on investment in terms of decreasing level of illiteracy. Economic growth is affected through increasing illiteracy percentage. This indicates that a particular society have strong discrimination aspect. It can be restricted by providing children with proper education and skill development programs. The entire approach has been included within innovative solution. Its return can be valued in relation to expanded base of children who possess industry knowledge and will not demand any abnormal wage rate. United States will significantly benefit from these policies since there will be more employee productivity and it will contribute towards economic growth. Organizational productivity totally depends on employee performance. This performance is improved by offering educational platform to individuals. Return on investment shall also be observed in context of economic stability and improved GDP rate. All these elements are essential for smooth functioning of a country. PESTLE analysis PESTLE analysis is a strategic tool that can be utilized to analyze return on investment of identified solutions. This tool is implemented in order to identify the affect of external influences on business operations. To be more precise, PESTEL framework enables an individual to outline its possible strength which can be used for exploring external opportunities. Political power will have significant impact on students training and skill development programs. Governmental support is essential for launching innovative programs at educational institution. Minimum wage rate can be increased only through policies framed by government. Social restrictions which give rise to unemployment cannot be mitigated without extended support from governmental bodies. Economic factors denote availability of funds in order to support such programs. Lack of funds would not initiate educational or training programs for target audience. The three innovative solutions incorporated in this particular study encompass huge costs. This rising cost factor can be addressed only through economic stability of a region. Social conditions indicate culture of a particular region along with its beliefs and attitudes. These solutions need to be aligned with societal aspect of affected regions. For instance, a society where discrimination on basis of gender is a common phenomenon, it would be difficult to implement such innovative solutions. Society needs to support these initiatives by encouraging children to join educational institutions and motivating workers to be a part of skill development courses. Technological advancements are a key factor which will promote innovative solutions. There are new technological platform available in the market place like social media, etc., that helps in easy transmission of message to target group. Advanced technology has also made tasks simpler and easier for workers. This approach needs to be incorporated within unemployed individuals. Environmental regulations have no such impact on innovative solutions since they are more inclined towards skill and knowledge enhancement of individuals (Henry, 2011). Legal factors mainly reflect upon regulatory standards imposed by government on employment conditions. While implementing innovative solutions it should be kept in mind that no legal frameworks is exploited. Legal standards will support in eliminating discrimination and designing a policy where local workers will be given more advantage in comparison to foreign workers. These standards shall play a critical role since innovative solutions being structured needs to be standardized across wider geographical region. SWOT analysis SWOT analysis is a strategic tool which is used to determine internal factors as well as external factors. Strengths and weaknesses are internal factors whereas opportunities and threats are denoted as external elements. In overall context, all innovative solutions are aligned with reducing rate of unemployment from the society. It can be stated that major strength of these innovative solutions is it takes into consideration all social groups. The solutions described are also focused on long term objectives. These measures are highly feasible and it will be beneficial in long run. Other strength of this solution is its positive impact on employees and children. Children will be motivated through offering advanced educational courses and workers shall be approached for skill development programs. Weaknesses of these innovative solutions are that it constitutes huge costs. Governmental support is required to a great extent in order to facilitate availability of funds. These solutions can fail if there are insufficient funds in the system. Unemployment also results due to lack of job opportunities which has not been taken into consideration in these innovative solutions. Apart from incorporating necessary skills within employees it is equally important to introduce new organizations. Opportunities are majorly linked with economic growth and development. It has been observed that those countries which are economically strong can effectively compete with developed regions. Opportunities of these solutions can also be classified as fighting against discrimination and illiteracy. They can even be implemented across other region where rate of unemployment have significantly increased. These external opportunities can also be represented in the form of more educated and employed individuals and so less negative impact on society. To certain extent problems arising due to traffic congestion can also be eradicated if individuals are encouraged to be a part of educational campaigns. Threats of these solutions or ideas are high demand of workers in context of wages and workplace conditions (Das and Teng, 2009). Since restrictions will be imposed on foreign workers so there will be limited opportunities available for local companies. It can also be denoted as incomplete solution since future impact of training or skill development programs have not been highlighted appropriately. Workers or students might shift to other region after gaining expertise which might affect economic stability of affected region. C. Partnership Agreements Stakeholders are normally referred to those individuals who have direct or indirect stake within an organization. There are two forms of stakeholders such as external and internal stakeholders. In this study prime focus is on idea or solution that has been introduced to eradicate unemployment issue from the system. Innovative solutions which have been designed are inclined towards employee’s skill development and provision of advanced educational courses for children. There are four important stakeholders of this idea- government, students, company and employees. Amongst these stakeholder groups, students and employees can be treated as external stakeholders. On the contrary, company and government are internal stakeholders. Government shall play a significant role in context of implementing these ideas. Funds and resources needs to be allocated by governmental authorities. These funds will then be equally distributed for educational programs or employee training sessions. Government is the major entity which can make this idea efficiently work. There are certain elements essential for implementation and execution of these innovative solutions (Murugan, 2013). Firstly, governmental bodies should be able to generate and allocate funds. Secondly, they shall be able to structure a standardized law for all segments. Unemployment can only be eliminated if all its root causes are strictly dealt with and discarded. In order to remove such causes, government needs to emphasize on regulatory frameworks. These policies will be designed on basis of employment conditions prevalent in United States. The new educational program to be structured shall encompass basic knowledge, technological skills, corporate knowledge, etc. All these factors will be prime focus of educational program. Government needs to standardize educational program for all children, who are residents of United States. Discrimination factor can be removed only with the support of governmental authority. This factor is observed in association with educational facilities and employment opportunities. Discrimination aspect can be efficiently dealt with only when a standardized norm is implemented by governmental authority. The other stakeholder of this issue is company. There are different areas to be addressed with the support of innovative solutions for unemployment. Company will work in collaboration with governmental authorities in order to design a workplace atmosphere where proper training shall be given to all employees. Unemployment basically rises due to insufficient skill set amongst team members which is an essential component for goal accomplishment. There are wide array of private and public organizations present in United States. The major goal of these firms is to build a competitive team of employees. This goal can be accomplished through designing a workplace environment where unskilled workers are trained so as to set high performance standards. Companies need to incorporate the approach of skill development within team members. It would enable them to eliminate cause of unemployment and motivate employees to perform well in the industry (Mintzberg, 2006). The other two stakeholders of this idea are children and employees. They are external stakeholders since they would make this idea work by being a part of the innovative solutions. Employees and children should come forward to undertake innovative solutions being designed. D. A brief overview of Internal Resource Requirements for day-to-day managed activities Internal resources should be well aligned with main objectives of innovative solutions. It can be stated that the main focus is on designing programs for employees and children. Human resources play a significant role in terms of implementing these solutions. These resources are usually in the form of government, industry experts, workers, and children. Children and workers are essential components since it would measure effectiveness of innovative solutions. They would be actively involved in context of undertaking various courses. Employees need to work in collaboration with companies in order to excel in different areas (Loseke, 2011). Skill development program can be successful only when employees are motivated to join this program. On the other hand, children too are a key factor as educational institutions will frame program based on their interests. These human resources are closely knitted with success of solutions. There are other human resources too which are required such as industry experts, governmental bodies, etc. They can be denoted as initiators of innovative solutions. In every dimension of proposed solution may that be minimum wage increase, elimination of social restrictions or inauguration of special courses for children; these resources form the basis of entire approach. Physical resources are infrastructure and funds (Ritzer, 2003). Proper infrastructure is required for providing skills training to employees and children. Funds tend to make operations simpler since wage rate can be regulated and percentage of illiteracy can be considerably minimized. E. A Route Map The key milestones involved in this project are aligning motives of governmental authorities with that of business organizations, enhancing public facilities, increasing minimum wage rate and influencing students to opt for uncommon subjects. A time period of 5 years is required for efficient implementation of innovative solutions. Initiatives 1st year 2nd year 3rd year 4th year 5th year Legal framework formed for educational institutions           Legal framework formed for employment conditions           Students being motivated to join new educational programs           Skills training program is made compulsory for employees           Government designing policies to eliminate social restriction           Business experts imparting knowledge to students           Focus on development and growth of local workers in relation to foreign workers           The above Gantt chart clearly states that different tasks within the project will be divided across a span of five years. First two years will be allocated for structuring legal norms and regulations to be followed in organizations and educational institutions. The following years will encompass different form of tasks and last three years shall be allocated for growth of local workers. Conclusion As per this study, unemployment is considered to be an alarming societal issue. There are different factors which have led to increase in unemployment rate. Amongst them most critical factors are discrimination, inappropriate education for children and lack of required skills amongst employees. Organizations in modern world are inclined towards gaining competitive advantage and hiring large base of efficient foreign workers. This aspect has restricted growth of local workers and it is most commonly observed in context of African Americans. There are many innovative solutions formulated which can help to reduce unemployment percentage. Government needs to work in collaboration with companies in order to provide skills development and training programs to employees. Often it is witnessed that employees are eradicated from a system due to lack of skills or knowledge which is essential for a particular task. Educational institutions need to design a framework where children shall be motivated to opt for new subjects and gain knowledge from industry experts. A time period of minimum five years is required for accomplishment of set objectives. References Das, T. K. and Teng, B., 2009. Strategic decision processes and cognitive biases.
