Training of MNC Managers: LG Electronics Corporation and DHL - Research Proposal Example

There are two applied methods in the methodology used in the research, which is very useful in arriving at the required conclusion and recommendation. First, there is a discussion and review of the literature. Concepts and principles are discussed, and analysis is applied. The literature is further discussed in the latter part of the paper, which is the subject of the discussion.Another is the survey, which utilized questionnaires and interviews. The survey was conducted on managers and department heads of LG Electronics Corporation and DHL, both in Jordan.

The results of the survey were further brought to light. Questionnaires were provided to the department heads of LG and DHL. The managers were interviewed personally. Open and closed questions were used in the questionnaires and interviews. Open-ended questions were addressed to managers who supplied some explanations to their answers.Organizational knowledge is discussed to provide an overview of how knowledge, information, and data can be obtained in the study of global organizations. It is deemed necessary because, in the age of intense globalization, organizations put more importance on the knowledge their managers and people possess.

This is known as ‘people-embodied know-how’. Theories were discussed along with this topic.The topic of cross-cultural training (CCT) occupied considerable space in the literature review and is also the main subject of the survey questions. The questions delved on whether the survey participants (managers and department heads) had knowledge of CCT, how CCT was conducted, and how CCT was useful in their adjustment.
