Jeff Bazos as a Chairman and CEO of Amazon - Case Study Example

Jeff Bezos is the founder, president, chairman and CEO of Amazon.com. He was raised in Albuquerque and specialized in Electrical engineering and Computer Science. Bazos is worth US$30.5 billion (Baer 1). The challenge that Bazos faced was satisfying the customers’ demand and competition. It means that he is concerned with the safety of people.

Amazon.com's business model is based on digital = Cash flow = Low prices. In its supply chain management, Amazon.com ensures that it has put itself in the customer’s shoes, it is not distracted by the competition, tracking down the client’s order (Supply ChainOpz 1).  It uses a better quality box for its customers; it is more concerned with customer satisfaction than gaining profits and use of small teams in serving the customers.   

Bezos argues that Amazon is not a charitable institution; it is a business. Its main strategy is to make its customer satisfied and happy. Moreover, technology organization backed by venture capitalist oftentimes rises to eminent state without showing profits (Yglesias 1). The best career that I would take at Amazon.com is in customer service as it greatly fits with my interest and abilities. I like to see my clients satisfied and do an excellent job with that in order to attract more customers to the business. An internship program at Amazon would help meet in gaining experience in my career and get me more exposed to the great people working there.
