work Business Business strategies frequently depend on the supposed foreseeable future. The Boeing Company and the European Aeronautic & Space Company (EADS) are no different. Whereas the EADS believes in the creation of bigger and bigger planes, the Boeing Company is of the notion that planes should not necessarily be as big, but faster and fuel-saving.In my opinion, the correct vision for the future is that of EADS. There is indeed congestion at airports. The mass of people who essentially travel by plane are on the rise by the moment.

Currently, airports are often crowded; planes today have very minimal space in an effort to ensure that as many passengers as possible are transported per plane. The company strategy of EADS has the best shot at success for the sake of the company business as well as for the mass of people who travel by planes. The EADS strategy merely involves the creation of bigger planes so as to carry many enough passengers and for longer distances. Its latest creation can transport up to 418 passengers. This in my opinion is a functioning strategy as planes can always be made bigger and bigger with increased demand.

In contrast, the Boeing Company’s strategy involves creating plane models that are relatively smaller, but faster and cheaper. The strategy would be excellent and economical for several passengers; however in terms of plain business, this plan could indeed be the company’s downfall. It is not as easy to create bigger and bigger planes as it would be to create smaller, faster, and cheaper ones. The strategy of the Boeing Company is one that can be easily taken up by several competitors and perhaps with a slight edge.

This could ultimately lead to the business’ downfall in the long run.All in all, both strategies are considerably good substantially. However, the EADS strategy has higher chances of success.Work CitedHitt, Michael A, R D. Ireland, and Robert E. Hoskisson. Strategic Management: Competitiveness and Globalization.
