Wireless bikes Denver B-cycle benefit from wireless technology greatly as it can provide bikes-sharing through special B-stations the number of which is around 50. This makes bikes more available for customers and facilitates the process. These stations work due to the wireless technologies such as RFID, GPS, and Wi-Fi. Thus, the company manages the largest bikes-sharing program in the US.The way of bikes-sharing provided by wireless technologies have a number of challenges. As the sharing is supervised by special devices, the bikes can be easily lost or even stolen.

Thus, the process should be thoroughly supervised with the help of GPS and LBS to prevent the company from losses. Speaking about the wide use of RFID, it is essential to mention that many companies use it not only to identify objects. RFID is widely used for stock-taking of goods, for moving objects and preventing steeling. The technology is applied to identify clients and their accounts. Denver B-cycle can use RFID to trace the implementation of the service in order to make improvements. LBS can also help trace the location of mobile object and provide customers with advertising.

4-generation wireless technologies also offer social networking, and SMS text messaging technologies for the bike-sharing companies to maintain the competitive advantage.
