Today, managerial roles are not confined to the parameters of defined managerial guidelines. It necessitates leadership initiatives in forging constructive work relationship that encourages understanding of cross cultural values, incorporates the views of diversity and believes in collective goals and shared learning. All these issues have increasingly become crucial elements of good managers. Thus, as a manager, apart from my self interests, I would also be responsible for the wider welfare of the employees who are working under me.

Consequently, if I maintain my individualism, I would not be able to understand the values and beliefs of people who come from different cultures. I would therefore be creating barriers which could adversely impact productivity. So I will have to restrain my individualism to include the opinions and views of others so as to create conflict free environment of mutual trust and understanding. This would help to promoting shared goals and collective decision making which would motivate them for higher performance.

Answer 2 Effective team work is hugely critical element of higher performance based on shared goals and collective decision making. In the contemporary American businesses, the collective decision making and shared goals reflect the goals and decisions of supervisors and seniors who are placed in powerful positions. The values and beliefs within the corporate culture are inculcated by the management who want the workforce to conform to certain defined parameters of guidelines and code of conduct.

Thus, businesses have set of beliefs that create hierarchy and promote strict obedience to the promoted culture. The teams therefore become part of organizational culture which inherits obedience to leaders as part of teamwork. Thus, teamwork often is guided by bureaucratic ethics. At the same time, it is also true that teams need to have common goals in order to achieve their target timely and with high efficiency. This is only possible if the team members work cohesively and become responsible for their work as assigned by the team leader.

The question of bureaucratic ethic therefore, becomes redundant in the overall goals of the organizations because organizational goals take precedent to the individual goals. Managers and seniors, howsoever powerful, are primarily guided by the organizational goals and objectives. They have to align their personal goals with that of the organization so that both can be achieved simultaneously. As such, the bureaucratic ethics represent organizational ethics which need to be enforced through guidelines for greater teamwork, resulting in productive outcome.

Thus, it can be concluded that team work is another name of bureaucratic ethics. Answer 3 Even if unethical behavior is caused by lack of awareness, it is still wrong and needs to be rectified through mechanisms that would help the firm to maintain its credibility in the market. In the current times, accountability of actions has become one of the vital ingredients of responsible business practice as firms are also responsible to their various stakeholders and shareholders. The transparency in actions and functions helps to develop more responsible behavior and enhance market credibility.

Thus, if I identify a misdeed, I would immediately take action which would serve as warning for others. Even small wrong doings done unintentionally can be damaging to the image of the company. The
