? Reflective report Reflective Report Essay My first essay sought to answer the question, ‘What are the factors/aspects that can influence employees’ job satisfaction? It aimed at exploring the conduits of satisfying the employees in various companies and firms. This aim is tied at establishing the aspects of satisfaction that can be achieved especially by the Ford Company. The essay further sought to find these variables and try to bridge the gap vi's-a-is ensuring that the growth and development of the firms are not compromised. The essay drew positive feedback from my tutor and earned a good grade. I attribute this success to the extensive research that I got involved in and comprehensive analysis of the literature materials therein. Taking into account that employees’ job satisfaction takes variations, the essay had to be well planned in different parts to ensure that all the aspects were dealt with. The authenticity of the essay was definitely incredible. In the essay, I recognized other authors’ work that I cited and ensured that the work was free from any plagiarism. Essay 2 The second essay had the question “How can performance of service be achieved without compromising on the satisfaction of employees?” this was majorly based on finding ways in which the satisfaction of employees is achieved without necessarily compromising on the quality of product and service delivery. The essay tackled service delivery and product quality extensively. The intrinsic and extrinsic employee motivation was also explored as a way of improving the service delivery. This essay is by and large a supplement for the first one. I thought that the first essay was more leant on dealing with the satisfaction of the employees as opposed to the improvement of service delivery and the production of quality products. As I was writing on the Ford automobiles Company, I found it interesting how the company manages keep its employees satisfied with what they are doing. I later thought that the quality aspect of the products and the service delivery was an important aspect of the company’s growth and prosperity. Therefore, I thought that this essay would greatly build on the first essay and create a complete path with ease. This was because the first essay tackled the employees’ aspect while this second one made a bridge between the employees and the quality of products and service delivery. During the April viva, I am certain that the panelists would want me to explain the choice of my topics and the push that I had in the subject matter. Carrying out a research is always tasking and I am sure that they will want me to explain to them how I managed my research, how I got my materials and the general ups and down that characterize research work. The panelists will also want to know my organization in as far as the research work is concerned and want to know how different it is from the usual course work. Eventually, they will seek to know the relevance and my reasons for having the second essay. During that time, I will get an opportunity to prove myself and to elaborate how well I have the grip on the content matter of the topics that I chose. Course reflection Reflecting on my research, there are a lot of positivity in the work I did though I realized that there are certain things that I would have done better. My organization during the research was good. I ensured that I searched for the relevant materials and did extensive research. In the first essay, I was very keen not to have repetitions that are unnecessary. I had a lot of materials that were enough to back up the items that I discussed. The better part of the organization of my research was as a result of adequate use of the research log. Throughout my sourcing of materials, I was keen to keep track of the materials that I came by so as to give me an easy time during the actual and final compilation of the research. The research techniques that I used were adequate and helped me in compiling the content of the first essay. The organization in the research work presented an easy time for me in the final writing of the essay. Time management is usually the greatest challenge in a research coursework. Planning is always the basic thing in achieving a timely research work. I started my research early enough but got a little bit sluggish on the way. Despite the fact that I organized my work well and was able to complete the two essays in time, at some point I felt the pressure of time. Towards the end of the deadline, I felt like I was going to be late for the submission. This made me a little nervous and I had to work under a lot of pressure to be able to beat the deadline. I believe that I could have avoided this had I kept on with the tempo that I had started with. This course has taught me the importance of picking topics and subjects that one understands. Furthermore, I have come to learn that interest is very important in the subject that one chooses to work on. I took a lot of time thinking about the subject to research on. I knew that throughout the research, there was going to be some point whereby general knowledge would be applied. This would have been difficult had I settled on a subject that I was well informed. The subject that I chose was of my interest. Since my childhood, I have had the interest of knowing the operations in automobile companies. This interest is what drove me towards picking the subject that I researched on. I had the interest and desire to know more beyond what I know concerning the automobile company. The interest and knowledge worked to my advantage throughout my research work. Getting information for the research work proved to be challenging at times. There were points in the research that the necessary information that I needed seemed elusive. I had to find information to support my arguments about service delivery and product quality in relation to employees’ satisfaction. I had to seek more information about the products of the Ford Company through the director of the Ford Company. In finding information related to customer satisfaction, I had to seek audience with the human resource manager at the company. I must admit that the research has greatly taught me the importance of being dedicated and enduring challenges in life. I received a lot of help from the management and the workers of the company. .
