?Business Proposal The business in my mind is an all-natural organic bakery that is highly ethical in operation while ensuring quality and profitability. The mission statement “To produce healthy and delicious bakery products that are free from extracts, concentrates, and flavorings at the same time ensuring profitability and total eco-friendly operations”. Our motto We dedicate our business to providing healthy and delicious all-natural bakery items We courageously ensure that all our operations are ecologically sustainable in nature To contribute to the local, national and international community by ensuring honesty, fairness and respect in all our dealings To promote community wellbeing by actively taking part in social welfare operations independently and in collaboration with various governmental and non-governmental agencies Evaluating various factors before starting the business In order to analyze the various influencing factors, Porter’s Five-Force Analysis will be used. In the Five-Force Analysis, the first point of consideration is Supplier Power. In the case of our company, we have decided to collect raw materials and ingredients only from economically backward community groups. First of all, regular supply of things from such groups will be ensured. The second point that is taken into account is Threat of Substitute Products or Services. Admittedly, the number of all-natural organic bakery items in the market is not so many. Still, other products of the same nature in the market will be analyzed. The third point assessed will be the Possibility of New Entrants in the field. Thereafter, the existing competition in the field will be closely analyzed so that suitable advertising, promotional and pricing strategies can be adopted. The last point of analysis will be a Focused Differentiation Strategy. Evidently, the company will stand apart for its all-natural product range and highly ethical and environmental operations. Our management philosophy Suppliers The company will produce only high quality products which are all-natural in nature. In order to achieve this, the company will ensure that its suppliers are following the quality guidelines properly. There will be a CSR that enlists all the supplier responsibilities and standards they have to adhere to. All the suppliers who engage in environmentally hazardous activities will be eliminated. In addition, regular monitoring and special training will be offered so that the quality does not go down in the long term. For this purpose, the company will set up an internal committee which will work in collaboration with specialized external agencies. The special feature of the company’s suppliers will be that they all will be groups and individuals from economically backward groups and women’s initiatives. This will give them economic stability. Customers Admittedly, the customers of the company will be the ones who believe in all-natural products. However, it is sure that the highly ethical and community based operations of the company will give it so many regular customers who care for environment, community and health. The company will be using technology to store the details of its customers, and the purchasing patterns of regular customers will be followed to take important decisions. In addition, the company will ensure that it seeks the opinion of its regular, loyal customers before launching new products and making alterations. In addition, in order to facilitate easy purchase, the company will have online and telephone booking facilities. This will help the customers avoid the long waiting time at the bakery. Lastly, the customers who wish to receive updates will be sent regular messages and emails regarding new additions and special offers. Lastly, the company will have its own website and discussion forum where the visitors have access to various recipes and details of various products. In addition, this forum will give the customers a chance to make suggestions and complaints. Vendors Te last part is the vendors. The company will have its own specific requirements for the vendors to follow. There will be requirements regarding the location of the vendors, the minimum space required, the interior design, and lighting. The company will be arranging special training for its vendors on ethical operation, and environment-friendly practices. Making a unique position The company will try to develop a unique position in the field by promoting the idea of all-natural and healthy bakery items. Admittedly, there are a number of companies that claim all-natural products in the bakery field. In addition, the company will publicize its totally community-based operations and charity events it undertakes. Evidently, a number of ethical consumers will be happy to purchase our products when they come to know about this. The last point is to stress on the environmental side. The company will publicize its environment protection measures that will attract a number of eco-conscious customers. Thus, the company will surely have a number of loyal customers in a short time. The marketing plan The marketing objective of the company is to develop trust as a healthy, high quality and highly ethical bakery in the first six months. To achieve this, the company will be spending 10% of its total sales on advertising in the first year; and hereafter, nearly 5% of the sales will go to advertising every year (source: Luther, 263). The marketing will depend on direct sales promotion activities like food festivals, special offers and gift vouchers. In addition, media like television, internet, newspaper and magazines will be utilized. Special attention will be given to health magazines and other health-related publications. In all the cases, the all-natural and environmental base will be emphasized. Additionally, there will be campaigns on environment and charity, especially for women and children which are organized independently and also in collaboration with various organizations.
