For instance, tetracycline if consumed during pregnancy for throat infection, it results in numerous complications. The proper development of fetal bones and teeth is hampered. The baby develops abnormal bones which is devastating for the development of the baby.

Tetracycline may result in the impaired liver functioning and the pregnant women may suffer from liver diseases. It leads to acidity and stomach cramps.
