A well-informed photographer is not only able to bring about beautiful images but can also bring to life the ideas he wants others to understand in the images he captures. For this reason, it is also important for photographers to make a list of things that interest them because they are often the subject matters one would research about. Therefore, more or less, a photographer is well-informed about his inclinations. Although making a list can be considered by beginners as a limiting factor in their development as photographers, the experienced photographers consider the fact that most successful photographers made their lists. This writer agrees to such suggestion because it could also help a person decide on his subject and consider how he could be successful in specializing on a certain theme. In addition, Hurn and Jay expounded on the importance of knowing where and how to position one’s self when taking a photograph. The two experts claim that this is essential because not one angle could be definitely said to portray the very image one wants to show. I think this is the very reason why photographers study their locations in addition to their subject, take several photos from different angles and some photographers even take risks in positioning themselves in high-rise buildings or flying planes.
