s: Details: Due But why is it art? In the twentieth century, diversity as a theme stands out as one of the practices in artistic development. This has shown a great deal of influence and significance in ensuring continuity and advancement in the current day art work. There are various events which points to this theme so as to ensure endurance of art work in linked to the twentieth century. This can be given different approaches as will be realized in the subsequent discussion on the same. Examples based on real art work done by artists will provide support for this view. This argument bases on a study on various artists skills and way of expression in the twentieth century. A remarkable advancement in this field has been realized owing to these efforts. This knowledge has an aspiratory effect on those interested in arts as a career and works as a yard stick to making artwork finer. The field has experienced diversity in approach which has seen it transform lives and perception on skills relevant to it. Computerization of some procedure and mechanisms is worth mentioning as it brings about positive impact in art work. As such, an analysis of two artists who have exhibited interesting skills will be scrutinized in the sections to follow. In this essay, I will make my argument that marketing skills, critical analysis skills and communication analysis skills count as the most important fresh skills required by the contemporary artists. As such, I will use the work of Richard Schmid, Colin McCahon, Abdessemed and Pedro Cabrita Reis to demonstrate the reason as to why these skills are crucial. Diversity as a factor that cuts across the work of these artists will be considered so as to make its importance vivid. Richard admits of realizing lots of change in art work as a career. His work in painting reflects the change by modernity exhibited in every piece of painting. Despite his age, advancement is inevitable making him work towards attaining world class status in painting works. Just how he does this would be the most relevant question at this point. Transition through attitudes is one of the success skills adopted by Schimid in defining his identity in painting. This is in line with the twentieth century dogma which is looked into when considering painting and drawing as an art. Must adhere to ideologies of the time include idea expressiveness, inventions of unique ideas, and manipulation of space. Craftsmanship became overridden by extreme order and total distortion which dominates all through painting and drawing art work. He considers other colleagues of his as heroes who also exhibit the same skills and orderliness that has become the way through in the present day field of work. Changing with the swing of pendulum according to what the current environment require and as per the future need dictates his progressive work in painting. At the level of adapting to the emerging requirements of painting, he had to make innovations in his painting work through diversifying his thinking and manner of presentation of his work. As such, lots of reasoning prevailed with no direct presentation but symbolic replica of situations as they prevailed. This ensured that he remained relevant in his painting and drawing work over through the twentieth century and influencing subsequent painters. Diversity proves to be an asset in art work considering advantages enjoyed by Richards and his appreciation. Another artist in painting who made a landscape theme hitting real points in the twentieth century is McCahon Collin. He currently excites in the national art collection of Newzeland where eight large panels take center stage. This work is shared with other artists and international interests who appreciate the quality of work done in the painting. Levels of galleries have been set aside to make public display. This is diverse from the traditional procedures and counts as an advantage which may be followed now and in the days to come. Visitors to most of the sites where this art work are displayed gain interest and notice the difference in the painting work so done as compared to other ordinary painting. This was actually carried over from the initial works by Colin. Landscape variation and themes made in various collections are the pivotal mode of diversity in these works of painting. The prominent feature is the way in which he organizes his landscapes as per the intended idea delivery making his work unique. This varies in each piece of work that he does. An intelligent copy of his ideas may presume dominance in the future painting work based on the uniqueness exhibited. History linking painting works by these artist interest artists based on the financial impressions made in his organization. Advisory councils took over the operation administered duties to ensure prosperity of painting as an art exhibiting positive advancement (Tim and Malcolm 67). This promoted the progress of the artwork originally done by Colin and became prominent. The art features exhibited in his work have since spread all over the world where mixed ideas produce an excellent result in painting. Abdessemed is another artist whose art work is worth mentioning considering the philosophical content and historical references that he made. He believes that images must strike more than words and impact performances as acts more so on his controversies. One of the videos of reference at this point includes "dont trust me" where animals are featured being slaughtered through blows in the head. This brought about mixed reaction from animal activists but when asked, he answered that he was declaring a commitment he made on preserving the act of slighter states. Wild animals features in most of his art work in his subsequent photography and video shootings, animals seem to be fighting and he believes they are real happenings like other artists. This sense of originality fine tunes his art work making it better than other artists in the same field. The end result is the domination of his skills and ideas in the field of video shooting and photography. The pivotal idea of this dominance is diversity in reasoning and unique applications of his knowledge in arts. More importantly, remaining relevant adds more flesh to the pieces making it a whole new thing embraced over generations (Tim and Malcolm 54). Political art work is what he comes out to be working on. He turns his work into the future in a philosophical manner relating to other philosophers ideas. He gives the future more weight than the present by rendering the present countless in his expression. This point makes his artwork appear to be one of its kind hence adoption by other artists. The diverse way of his approach in photographic work facilitates the advantages that he enjoys. Pedro Reis is another artist whose work stand prominent, and pronounced among artists in landscape themes. His exhibitions are found in leading world museums with the first appearing in 1990. He has participated actively in the world competitions where he presents sculptures, paintings, photographs, drawings among other art works. Most of his work revolves around housing, construction, habitat and territory. One noticeable feature is the manner in which he diversifies in his fields of coverage. He does not limit himself to one of the fields such as painting alone. This increases his chances of success. Artists all over the world are adapting this all round coverage so as to realize their dreams in art work. He comes out as a keen collector of civilization as evident in his work. He moves with the current trends in search of ideas to apply in making sculptures and painting (Sparke 102). The other thing that he embraces is drawing in space which facilitates the quality of his product in other related fields. Every presentation that he makes in a competition comes with a unique feature. This shows his high levels of creativity that gives him an upper hand in competing favorably. Many other artists resort to borrowing his skills since they come in handy in the current state of application of art works. Diversity levels shown by this artist may be termed to be relevant now and in the future; despite its successful application by the artist. The manner in which he chooses on what to deal in and making it to various museums is commendable and worth copying by other artists. This became influential in the twentieth century and still applies in todays art applications. Success of artwork in related fields may also adapt this to ensure significant development. All fresh artists require diverse skills so as to realize success in their work. The first requirement is innovation which leads to delivery of unique products. The point of concern here is to attract more attention and stay competent considering art work in the current and the past centurys. Various artists have shown that this characteristic is relevant in and applicable in advancing artistic skills. For survival in the upper scale of competent artists, innovation and creativity must be exhibited (Sparke 33). Trying to widen the scope of art work becomes advantageous as exhibited by artists of the twentieth century and beyond. Not only one field would do but an attempt in any other sector may prove worthy. Artists must learn to gunner support from relevant organizations so as to promote their work and realize their ambitions. This comes in handy especially during financial challenges where support may be needed to reach great heights. Skills required by artists in the present century may include those exhibited by artists in the recent centuries that became successful. Learning from the best is the best way to go for new artists. As a result of this, it may be necessary to appreciate efforts made by other artists through innovations and diversity so as to become successful. An analysis of the reasons behind their success and the progressive ideas carried over generations is important. The skills discussed in the above sections provide support for this idea.
