Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies, people now prefer sharper images and perfect quality. In relation to this, the demand for 3D technology is growing. Films are exhibited not just on TV, but exhibition through DVD and Internet downloading is even more popular, especially if to take into account the fact that people are now looking for more comfortable ways of watching films than going to a movie theater.
In terms of quality and depth of the films, it seems the Internet and digital technologies have greatly affected the cinema too. While the Internet has made porno available for free, people no longer look to movies to watch sex and nudity. It is now perceived vulgar, so the audience would rather see sexuality than sex (Dylan van Rijsbergen, 2007, www.signandsight.com). Plus, people started to perceive movies more in terms of their images and emotion rather than intellectual quality, with great emphasis on technological effects (Coppola cited in Mystery Man on Film, 2007, www.mysterymanonfilm.blogspot.com). Also, it seems the quality of films production improved since the audience have a wider choice of what to see and critically review films in their blogs.

In the film you chose, are the events presented chronologically or are they presented non-linearly? What might a filmmakers intentions be when he or she chooses to present events chronologically or in a non-linear order?
