Salvadore Dali Artist’s Life Salvador Dali was born in Spain in the year 1904. His life was quite traumatic to understand right from the onset as his elder brother died before he was born. This was one point that always affected him in one way or the other throughout his life. His parents thought of him as the re-embodiment of his dead brother. Dali was treated differently and it would not be wrong to state that in quite a special manner which really did the trick in his strong build up of personality.

His character was thus one to be talked about. His feelings with regards to his own self courtesy his brother’s eyes made him feel fascinated which was related to his rustiness and decomposition. He was there to bring about a change. It was in the year 1917 when his father organized his first exhibition that he came to the forefront. In another five years time, he was thrown out of the Paris group. In 1940, he and Gala Eluard had to vacate France just before the Nazi invasion and it was Picasso who came to his help by paying for their move. Meanwhile, Dali had lost a number of his paintings all this while. Additionally, Salvadore Dali was affected by some rudiments which emerged in some of his paintings from time to time.

One element of his paintings was sexuality, which he gained from the Surrealism. He either drew nude women either for the sake of sheer enjoyment or he used to draw up nude persons who marked the insignia of scarcity and slavery. Visual Analysis of Salvadore Dali’s Work In his picture “Slave Market with Disappearing Bust of Voltaire” which was made in the year 1940, Salvadore Dali appeared to be there between all the three elements landscape of Catalonia, Gala as well as sexuality which demonstrated how strongly he was affected by all of these.
