Act One The main character Carolina walks on the Acapulco beach in pursuit of her lover. Carolina seeks to protect her partner from the external forces that is any good-looking woman that she fear might warp their marriage. In this sense, the theme of love, jealousy, and blackmail seems to feature at the first instances of the movie. The unfolding of the events in the first scene predisposes the viewer to the myopic view that certain traits against the opposite sex might project the interest that one might have against the opposite sex. Carolina seems to project the view that men can easily make advances to women that have received their olive branch. Since she is a newly married couple, she spends lavish lifestyle as they walk in the beach; however, she seems to be hiding her feelings about the fear she has against her fellow women that she has thought would backbite. Caroline exits the first scene leaving the viewer gauzing about events that would proceed. Act Two Carolina’s marriage is at stake owing to the fact that she is not comfortable with the lifestyle at the beach. Arguably, the beach has varied scenes ranging scenes that would attract one person to the other and situations that are not compromising. Beach life seems attract couples that have just wed. The playwright seems to suggest that couples that get married prefer beach resorts for their good times. Since this is the preexisting case, Carolina’s pronounced jealousy is not out of hand, because she has the noble duty to protect her marriage. Carolina’s actions display the woes of a woman in protecting the treasures of marriage. Men are figures in marriage, yet they can quit at anytime. Thus, fear of protecting the marriage is not a strange phenomenon, but an aspect the society should prepare to face. Some two beam bums Davies and Rambo enters this thereby helping in developing conflict in the play. The action of the beach bums is the centre of conflict in this scene. Caroline’s is a treasured woman. Her presence in the beach seems to have the source of Caroline’s worry. At some point the bride is seen walking alone, yet she should be in the company of the bridegroom. The scene leaves the viewer gauzing the affair between Caroline’s niece and her husband. When Carolina’s rescues her niece, things no longer seems to be the way the viewer anticipated. The dramatic twist illustrates the extent to which love for someone would lead to jealousy. While watching the unfolding of events in the movie, one would ask the feelings of a partner against the other. Displaying affection in the public is an instrumental aspect that seems to influence the perception of any given couples. In most instances, the playwright displays the sunken feeling about love and fear. It appears that the author intended to disapprove the feelings about romantic lifestyle. The suspicion of Carolina leads to the conflict in the conflict. However, the nature of conflicts depends on the thematic concern intended in each scene. First, when Carolina’s husband settles on helping his wife relative, the burning beauty does not seem to appear. However, after establishing a conflict, Carolina does not walk free anymore, but uses all the available instances to monitor the possible deceptions in case the husband goes out of the marital bed. The second conflict is the choice of Carolina’s husband to find the beautiful young woman that he had saved from drowning. The character that Caroline’s husband saved from water magnifies the bellowing fire that was burning inside Carolina. When women protect their territories, it is not surprising because the fear of losing the partner seems to be detrimental. In this sense, both Carolina engage in activities that would display social conflict, but measures the magnitude of such interference. This trend sustains the main theme of jealousy. Jealous persons may fail to display it openly, but would wreath in pain and anguish whenever their opponents make a move that would engage the two victims. The character helps in supporting Carolina in displaying the theme of love and jealousy. The craving for a woman becomes the central factor that keeps the two warring sides at bar. When the two men left for the coastal city, the main intention was to seek for a woman. However, the outcome of their pursuit was their fate which none of them seems to have glimpse. Davies and Rambo made the greatest searches that one would ever imagine. Each took the search a notch higher by searching through the yacht parties. Although one may view this attempt as obnoxious, it defines the extent to which love can influence an individual into making the greatest moves in life. Evidently, this move could cause conflict in the yacht party, yet it does not seem intriguing for any of the two men. Davies and Rambo join the yacht party, yet they do not have the tickets. The conversation between the two fellows does seem distance from the rest of the party thereby bringing confusion about their identity. However, events in this scene changed when one of the yachts capsizes and the life of the crew is at stake. Davies volunteers to take the noble course of saving the life of the crew. He dives into sea and he manages to rescue the life of a young woman that did not know how to swim. Act Three In this scene, the woman that Davies saved returns to the beach party. At a glance, Davies and the woman cannot resist their body attraction. It later emerges that the outcome of the searches made by the two friends was an epitome of conflict because failure of one of the friends to secure the woman of his choice would amount to jealousy. In retro respect, it emerged that the Rambo who dived into scuba surfaced without any woman whereas his friend surfaces with the woman of his dream. The outcome of this event, though not predetermined amounted to the drift experienced in the future episodes (Jolliffe and Zinnes 102). While it is arguable that friends should stand the test of time, it is not certain that every friend would celebrate when his colleague succeeds. A third party, Millard viewed the search made by the two men as worrying because it might have touched his interest to see the two men seeking one of the most treasured women. He attempted to stop the activities of Rambo and Davies by clutching them. However, the two young men are unstoppable; they sought an escape root and embarked on their search. Largely, love could make an individual to make a move that none could imagine. The search changed when Davies met Suzanne Pleshette. Prior to their coincidental meeting, Suzanne was married to lover of the woman that was in hot pursuit. This means that Suzanne was also part of the conflict. Her marriage to the lover of the missing woman indicates the conflicting situations, which the two women faced. While Suzanne surfaced attracting the attention of Davies, the missing woman does not surface. Across the devoid, Rambo does not find it cool to search for the treasured woman that he saw jump into the ocean. However, the probable gauzes that he made included conflict of interest between Suzanne and the woman that disappeared. The swift have their chances to prove certain issues to the audience, yet fate has its means of influencing such opportunities (Jolliffe and Zinnes 102). In this sense, both Rambo and Davies were an opportunity that emanated out of conflict to prove the conflict parties otherwise. In the final episode, the characters sought their own interest away from the common goal to seek the woman that they had treasured. However, Rambo to swallow his pride by admitting that he was not successful in finding the treasured woman. His efforts to overturn the table of events did not yield any fruit, but exposed the interest of other men in the treasured woman. In addition, the unsuccessful search indicated the exit of the character from the evils of her environment. Arguably, if the treasured woman had the chance, she could have refuted the conflict.
